@ndtv @ShivAroor Back in my school days we had the school peons , maids and watchmen patrolling the corridors and pulling up kids not in class. Even someone doing that would have saved this child. Why dont these new age schools have this basic system ?

@theskindoctor13 Lets not blame the parents. Clearly the failure lies with the school . Enough was not done that final hour. Anyone person talking to her or the other kid bullying her might have prevented this. More workshops are needed for teachers and kids regarding bullying

@the_psyche_lab Not every couple having kids are at a stage of life where they have adequate savings and nil or manageable debts and its an easy decision to quit a high paying job. Everyone has different lives. So its OK if you are sending kids to daycare or depend on nannies or grandparents.

@stayaway_002 Such lazy thoughtless arguments. Work is no longer an option for most ppl. Its a necessity. What we need to demand are stringent laws and enforcement for child safety at daycare centers. The caregiving industry needs laws that have good guard rails to prevent this

@chandrarsrikant Request the media to follow up on this trial. All those guilty deserve most stringent punishment. This case should be a message to all those in the care giving industry. Hope the police frame a good case.

@smitaprakash Its easy to say forget your career and care for your kids at home. Most parents dont have a choice. What needs to improve are the regulations , safeguards and enforcement of the same. As is the case with most things in india , again the govt is to blame.

@AartiTikka Seriously? Nowadays kids dont even read the NCERT history books AFAIK. Trim the text books as much as possible ! There's also too little indian history content in these books atleast back in my school days . I never heard of ahoms or even the south indian kings. So increase those
