A classic example of 'Elite Capture' in media when a 7 minute segment of a news show, looks like a snippet from a 9pm bulletin, not a segment from an incisive 10pm primetime show that picks on important issues.

After a six-month hiatus, the #RotiGang reunited at Kaiser, a beloved old restaurant renowned for its exceptional cuisine, especially their signature mutton leg. The company was delightful, and the food even more so. We all had a fantastic time, though @NadiaNaqi s absence was felt.

P.S. Established in 1957 in the old city, Kaiser has been a favorite dining spot for prominent figures like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Nusrat Bhutto, Pervaiz Musharraf, and indeed, the Roti Gang.

This is an important observation. During the Under-15 and Under-17 team trials and selections in Karachi, I recently witnessed that certain zones, particularly one run by a PSL franchise manager, are using influence to get their players selected. Real merit is what gets results. In Pakistan, particularly Karachi, that's sadly not happening.
