A number of Pakistani students have come out in support of Afghan students in Islamabad, opposing their expulsion by the PMDC. Meanwhile several Afghan students told me they were forced to evacuate their hostel in Bahawalpur despite the Lahor High Court ruling.

These Afghan female students at Fatima Jinnah Uni in Pakistan were told to evacuate their hostel following the decision to expel students whom Pakistan had invited on scholarships.“Where will I go? Why do I have to leave without completing my studies?” a of the student told BBC.

#Pakistan #Afghanistan trade: The trade blockade with Afghanistan has cost Pakistani exporters around $1 billion in the past 10 months, according to a senior leader of the Afghan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Pakistan’s annual exports to Afghanistan were about 1.5 billion US dollars. Afghanistan’s annual exports to Pakistan were about US$800 million. Afghan exporters have lost about US$533 million due to the trade blockade in the last ten months, Senior Vice President of Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI) and Chairman of Dry Port/Railway Standing Committee of SarhadChamber of Commerce and Industry, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi said in a statement. Similiarly annual exports of Pakistani products to Central Asian countries via Afghanistan are around $800 million and the blockade of transit trade has cost Pakistani exporters around $225 million in the past 10 months, Sarhadi said. The closure of Pak-Afghan trade has made thousands of people unemployed, directly and indirectly, while large-scale unemployment has had a negative impact on law and order, and there is unrest in #Khyber #Pakhtunkhwa province and its merged districts.

Appeal to @MaryamNSharif @OfficialDPRPP @DCGRW @MIshaqDar50 : An #Afghan doctor Noor ul Haq, who says he was arrested last week in #Sahiwal and is now at a detention center in #Gujranwala for deportation. In a audio message the doctor says he faces very bad condition in the center and if the govt wants to deport him, he should be deported as soon as possible to get rid of the harsh condition. The doctor says he was brought to the Afghan Holding Center 4 days ago for deportation but is still there. He says his biometric and verification already done by the NADRA/FIA Several Afghan doctors have been done. At least 10 Afghan doctors working at various hospitals in Punjab and two female students of @IIUI_OFFICIAL were deported last week, according to their colleagues over visa issues.

Urgent humanitarian appeal to govt of Pakistan:

Afghan cancer and other critical patients are losing their lives because Pakistan visa restrictions are disrupting lifesaving treatment. I personally know two patients who died after they could not return to Islamabad to complete remaining session of chemotherapy/radiotherapy at Shifa International Hospital.

Patients traveling legally for medical care should not suffer because of regional tensions or the actions of militant groups. Humanitarian medical visas for Afghan patients must be facilitated urgently.

Every delay can cost a life.

🔴 میں آج ایک بھاری دل کے ساتھ اپنی زندگی کے ایک نہایت تکلیف دہ باب کو آپ سب کے ساتھ شیئر کر رہا ہوں۔

میری پیدائش آج سے 37 سال پہلے پاکستان میں ہوئی۔ میری پوری زندگی وہیں گزری۔ میں نے ہمیشہ خود کو ایک ذمہ دار شہری سمجھا، اور بطور ایک سوشل میڈیا ایکٹیوسٹ ہمیشہ ظلم، ناانصافی اور جرائم کے خلاف آواز بلند کی اور عام لوگوں کے حقوق کی بات کی۔ میری زندگی کا مقصد کبھی ذاتی فائدہ نہیں تھا بلکہ سچ کہنا اور اپنے ضمیر کے مطابق کھڑے رہنا تھا۔

میں نے اپنی پوری زندگی محنت اور ایمانداری سے گزاری۔ نہ کسی حکومت سے کوئی سہولت ملی، نہ کسی ادارے سے کوئی مدد حاصل ہوئی۔ میں نے اپنی اور اپنے خاندان کی کفالت صرف اپنی محنت سے کی، قدم قدم پر مشکلات برداشت کیں، مگر ہمیشہ پاکستان کو اپنا گھر سمجھا اور اسی کو اپنی شناخت جانا۔

مگر جس طرح میرے خاندان کو پہلے پاکستان چھوڑنے پر مجبور کیا گیا، اور بعد میں جس انداز سے مجھے بھی افغانستان ڈیپورٹ کیا گیا، وہ میرے لیے انتہائی تکلیف دہ اور ناقابلِ بیان تجربہ تھا۔ اپنی پوری زندگی کی محنت، کمائی، یادیں، اور بنائی ہوئی بنیادیں سب کچھ پیچھے چھوڑ کر خالی ہاتھ نکلنا میرے لیے ایک بہت بڑا صدمہ تھا۔ 💔

یہ کہنا آسان ہے کہ پہلے ہی پاکستان چھوڑنے کا کہا گیا تھا، مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ میرے لیے پاکستان چھوڑنے کا فیصلہ میری زندگی کا سب سے مشکل اور تکلیف دہ فیصلہ تھا۔ میری پیدائش، میری پرورش، میری جدوجہد، میری یادیں—سب کچھ پاکستان سے وابستہ تھا۔ میں نے کبھی تصور بھی نہیں کیا تھا کہ ایک دن مجھے یوں سب کچھ چھوڑ کر جانا پڑے گا۔

میں نے پہلے اپنے خاندان کے ساتھ ہونے والے رویے کا ذکر کیا تھا کہ کس طرح انہیں بے دردی کے ساتھ پاکستان چھوڑنے پر مجبور کیا گیا۔ لیکن میرے ساتھ آخری ایک ماہ کے دوران جو کچھ ہوا اور جس طریقے سے مجھے پاکستان سے نکالا گیا، وہ میں فی الحال پاکستانی عوام کی عزت اور احترام کی خاطر بیان نہیں کرنا چاہتا۔ 🙏

اب جو کچھ ہو چکا ہے، اسے میں اللہ کے سپرد کرتا ہوں۔ پاکستان چھوڑنے کا فیصلہ بھی اللہ پر چھوڑ دیا، اور اب ایک نئے ملک میں نئی زندگی شروع کرنے کا معاملہ بھی اسی کے حوالے ہے۔ اللہ بہترین رزق دینے والا ہے اور اسی پر ہمارا یقین ہے۔ 🤲

میری صرف ایک آخری اور بنیادی خواہش ہے کہ میں نے پاکستان میں جو کچھ اپنی محنت سے بنایا، کم از کم مجھے یہ حق دیا جائے کہ میں اسے close کر سکوں یا اپنی محنت کا حاصل اپنے ساتھ لا سکوں۔ خالی ہاتھ افغانستان آ کر نئی زندگی شروع کرنا میرے لیے بے حد مشکل ہے، خاص طور پر اس وقت جب میرے ساتھ میرا خاندان اور میرے بچے ہیں، اور یہاں نہ اپنا گھر ہے، نہ کاروبار، نہ کوئی مستقل آمدن۔

میری حکومتِ پاکستان سے صرف اتنی گزارش ہے کہ مجھے اتنی اجازت دی جائے کہ میں پاکستان میں اپنی چھوڑی ہوئی محنت اور معاملات کو قانونی طور پر مکمل کر سکوں۔ یہ میرا بنیادی حق ہے، اور مجھے امید ہے کہ اس انسانی اور جائز درخواست پر غور کیا جائے گا۔

اللہ سے دعا ہے کہ وہ ہمارے لیے آسانیاں پیدا فرمائے اور ہمیں عزت اور سکون کے ساتھ نئی زندگی شروع کرنے کی توفیق عطا کرے۔ آمین۔ 🤍

They are refugees, not Taliban soldiers. Targeting poor Afghan refugees civilians, especially from mosques, will not solve border tensions or stop war. Conflict may end, but the wounds and memories of injustice and humiliation will remain. Act with wisdom, justice, and humanity.
Holding refuges for decades thn insulting them not a profitable business and policy at all .
Border is closed perhaps , many of them wanted to Taliban regime .
