In Ghaziabad, at Kaila Bhatta in Uttar Pradesh, a Hindutva goon named Satyam Pandit threatens an elderly Muslim man, ordering him to shut down his non vegetarian eatery every Tuesday, or he would set the shop on fire.
How is it that any random vigilante can openly intimidate poor Muslim vendors of their livelihoods, video record these threats and circulate the videos on social media to gain followers, but still face no consequences?
Till when will @ghaziabadpolice, @dm_ghaziabad and Govt remain silent spectators?
Such threats by RW influencers have increased in and around Ghaziabad, Why is the govt and @Uppolice turning a blind eye on such blatant intimidation and lawlessness by these goons?
A few stories of humanity and reality ♥️ please go through all of them.
To those spewing poison, you're nothing more than malleable hate machines at this point. That's your existence.
Thank you @TheQuint for covering this.

Godi ji... Godi ji Godi ji.... Do watch this video on Godi Media.
The role of a journalist in a democracy is to ask questions, hold people in power accountable and build an informed electorate. However, many journalists, in particular, television anchors, seem to have forgotten that their job is to serve the people, not the government. How far will the Godi media go before it destroys the secular fabric of this nation? The nation, indeed, does want to know!
I MODI GOVT EXPOSED By NYT JOURNALIST l
NYT (The New York Times)
Journalism is Under Threat in India
Emily Schmall was the Delhi-based South Asia correspondent for The New York Times, she and other foreign correspondents were invited by the Indian government for what seemed to be a “friendly invitation for tea”.
Tea turned into a tantrum, where “one minister or another minister would start berating us”. At one of these sessions, the “minister of information” – #AnuragThakur – printed out some of the stories written by the gathered correspondents and read the headlines aloud, “seemingly at random, with some sarcasm in his tone”.
Schmall was in Delhi for the NYT from 2020 to 2022, and also served as South Asia correspondent for Associated Press between 2018 and 2020. She recalled India’s “antagonistic” climate, saying foreign correspondents find themselves being “targets of harassment and sometimes far worse”. It’s also why she had the “badge of honour” of being summoned twice by the Modi government under the guise of tea, but mainly to “explain their reporting”.
