@blrcitytraffic@BlrCityPolice@CPBlr what are you doing.
East Bengaluru cannot afford another infrastructure crisis created by delayed execution.
The Panathur–Balagere–Gunjur east–west arterial has been part of Bengaluru’s approved CDP road network for years. It is the only planned sub-ORR east–west connection between Marathahalli and Varthur, yet critical portions remain unbuilt.
This must be completed before Metro Phase 3 construction begins on Sarjapur Road. The corridor is already operating beyond capacity, and Metro construction will reduce road space further. Without the alternative grid, traffic will spill onto an already overwhelmed ORR and paralyse East Bengaluru.
Two immediate actions are required:
1. A joint survey with South Western Railway and preparation of a DPR for an RUB at Panathur.
2. An alignment study near Balagere to examine whether the forest-land segment can be bypassed through a minor deviation.
These are not insurmountable engineering challenges. They require coordination, ownership and urgency.
Approved plans do not build cities. Execution does. The time to act is before the Metro drills arrive, not after Bengaluru is gridlocked.

@CMofKarnataka@osd_cmkarnataka WE HAVE A 600 CRORE WORTH QUESTION FOR GOK
On Jan 17th 2026 we had a Silt clean up drive in Balegere road organised and executed by #Tax paying #Bharatiyas, for around 50 meter distance we cleared 1 truck of the silt, imagine the amount of silt on entire Balegere, Gunjur, Varthur. Air Pollution and respiratory disorders are mainly caused due to poorly kept roads.
School kids are going through hell lot of health issues due to dust allergy. Many Gig workers using yulu bikes, 2 wheelers, bicycles skid due to this silt. There are severe accidents due to road side silt. Drains are choked and floods due to this silt
@PCMohanMP@MALimbavali are least bothered to intervene and get things done at the earliest
ACCORDING TO ARTICLE 21 WE ARE NOT GETTING BASIC RIGHT TO LIVE WITH DIGNITY
We are suffering from this for last 20 years though this is wrongly called as #IT corridor,when can we get a Sweeping machine to remove the roadside silt ? Or other option is to refund our road and property #taxes so that we shall crowd fund and clean our roads with our own resources which help in devolution of the cities responsibilities

🚨 Today, a school bus almost toppled on Balagere–Panathur Road due to massive potholes & waterlogging. Children had to be pulled out.
Who is taking responsibility for this? Do we wait for a tragedy before action is taken?
