The authorities here have planned for a plastic burning incineration plant just behind your Ecity Campus. The employees who have dedicated 1,70,000 hrs !!! for a sustainable environment will breathe Dixon's and Furans from the plant badly affecting their health.

Authorities say that the WTEs will only process dry waste & not mixed waste. In the same breath, they say that without WtEs mixed waste problem cannot be solved! They don't even get the irony of it.

BBMP is looking to set up decentralised biomethanation or compost units for SWM. This land in Ward 47 has been identified as it will enable Pulakeshinagar division to become zero wet waste discharge ward. GOK Revenue Dept has been requested to hand over this land to #BBMP.
