The RCEM ACP fiasco began when it became clear that ACPs are becoming the Emergency Physician In Charge (EPIC). ACPs can be Tier 3 and 4 clinicians in EDs.

Why is this an issue for EM trainees and other doctors? Do they hate non-doctors? Is it just snobbery?

Here is a thought for all consultants

if you have students scheduled to be in clinic with you, and you don't want them, have the courtesy to do so face to face. Don't send others to do it for you.
