In Andhra Pradesh, a family of four from Kakinada went to a bridge in Rajamahendravaram over the Godavari river.
Panchayat Raj Assistant Engineer Nookaraju, his wife Meena, their daughter Sowjanya, and Sowjanya’s 10-year-old son Reyansh reportedly jumped into the river.
The child Reyansh survived. He was rescued by fishermen. But Nookaraju, Meena, and Sowjanya died.
At first, the case appeared to be a devastating family suicide.
Then investigators found two suicide notes. One was written by Nookaraju, and the other was written by Sowjanya.
Both reportedly named the same person: Sheikh Sadiq Khan, a rifle-shooting coach.
Sowjanya in her suicide note accused Sadiq Khan of prolonged harassment, threats, blackmail, and financial extortion. She claimed that private photographs/videos were being used to threaten her.
Sowjanya alleged that Sadiq repeatedly pressured her to convert to Islam.
Sowjanya also accused Sadiq Khan of being responsible for the death of her husband, who had died earlier. She claimed that her husband had been given a poisonous substance and that his death had been made to look like a suicide.
And, Nookaraju in his suicide note said that after the death of his son-in-law, Sadiq Khan entered his widowed daughter's life by offering to help her. He then began threatening and harassing the family.
Sowjanya’s 10-year-old son Reyansh who survived, told the police that Sadiq began visiting their house frequently and that he would often physically assault his mother and demand gold and money from her.
After their deaths, Sadiq Khan reportedly went missing from Andhra Pradesh.
After a search spanning five states, Sadiq Khan was traced to Meerut, where he was arrested with assistance of the UP police.
Three lives were lost, and a 10-year-old boy was left behind to face a future without his mother, grandparents, or family. Justice must be served.
A girl completely exposed CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke.
Now, Abhijeet Dipke doesn't need Sonam Wangchuk anymore. He wants Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike and go back home.
So that the government's full attention goes to Abhijeet. That's exactly what he wants.
What if Sonam Wangchuk went on another hunger strike, but this time demanding the abolition of the reservation?
Would he get support from celebrities? Would Instagram influencers run campaigns urging the govt to listen to him? Not at all. If anything, he might be physically attacked, and the govt would arrest him for provoking public sentiment and inciting riots. Nobody would call the govt 'oppressive' that time.
Essentially, neither his hunger strike nor his life is what truly matters; only the narrative matters. All of this emotional appeal to rally behind him is not for his sake, but for the sake of the narrative. His supposedly good image among the youth is merely a smokescreen to obscure the agenda driving him forward.
Such kind of support is always transactional. The moment the asset stops serving the ideological goals of the narrative-creators, his moral immunity will be revoked, his 'good image' will be dismantled overnight, and the very same crowd that idolises him would abandon him.
Why are we not talking about it?
Jihadi Moin Khan's (who was operating with Hindu name Manish Sharma? phone contained over 40,000 obscene videos. Yes 40000 video, just imagine..
If it wasn't jihad, why was he using a Hindu name?
Such a big case, yet the silence is deafening. Just like the Ajmer case, this too deserves nationwide attention.
Everyone is busy attacking the man.
Almost nobody is asking an equally important question about the woman involved.
If two consenting adults made a private arrangement, why is all the outrage directed at one side?
Why is the man being publicly shamed, losing opportunities, and facing demands for punishment, while the woman's choices are treated as completely beyond criticism?
Either both adults exercised their free will, or neither did.
You cannot celebrate female agency when it is convenient and then pretend women have no agency when public outrage begins.
The real issue is not a ₹370 payment.
The real issue is the double standard.
When a man is involved, society demands consequences.
When a woman is involved, society demands excuses.
That is why so many men no longer believe the rules are applied equally.
