India provides its first-ever line of credit (LoC) in the #IndianRupee. The LoC of ₹487.60 crores has been extended to #Mauritius to fund their water pipeline replacement project.

Earlier this month, when UK took the decision to return the #ChagosIslands to Mauritius, both the #UK and Mauritius formally recognised India’s involvement in their joint statement. India has always been a consistent supporter of Mauritius’s claim to sovereignty over the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean.

#IndiaMauritius ties are reaching their peak. The developments in the bilateral relationship between the two countries are helping to bolster security in the #IndianOceanRegion and also augmenting #dedollarization.

Update on Mega #BloodDonation Camp 2023:

After the final reconciliation of data from all #BloodBanks, I am extremely happy to inform you all that, in fact, 15,127 units of blood were actually collected yesterday as opposed to the earlier mentioned 14,947 units.

Each unit of blood donated ensures this #lifesaving resource is available to one and all, irrespective of any & every boundary.

Once again, I heartily appreciate the efforts of all the donors and volunteers who made the Mega #BloodDonationCamp a grand success.
