@NadaAJones Spending a week in Florence was a dream come true. We enjoyed some wonderful food there while being overwhelmed by the art. But if you can get a less than delicious meal in Italy or France I have never found it.

@NadaAJones It's just off the Piazza della Signoria in the center of things and our hotel recommended it. The sliced truffles in the pta were a nice touch lol

I think this is indeed at the heart of the silly criticism. I guess that's natural too and the internet gives them the "courage" to give you and I'm sure so many other a hard time. I hope you treat all this with the amusement it deserves.

I can't begin to describe how genius Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister were.

At the time Yes Minister was broadcast I often watched it at the home of someone who was at the level of Sir Humphrey in one of the ministries. He always confirmed its accuracy.

Later I worked as a consultant at the highest levels of the civil service and it was attitudes toward Israel and Jews I experienced, only at the very top, which formed part of my decision to move my family to Israel.
