The D Line extension under Wilshire Blvd. is a nice antidote to Wilshire's origin as a cars-only haven that shunned railways.

Dept. stores built entryways from their parking lots and Wilshire was the first US street to have dedicated left turn lanes and timed traffic signals.

@beckyhartung Zach the Hack. What an idiot this guy is. Zach the Hack is running for an LA City job, which would never audit an LA Metro project. LA Metro Staff reports monthly before the Metro Board of Directors about the problems and delays on completing the D Purple Line and various costs.
