This is a new two-track railway line that dives under it at Werrington, north of Peterborough on the East Coast Main Line.
Highbury and Islington, Clapham Junction, Barking and East Croydon entered into the top 10 for the first time. These replace London Paddington, London Euston, London St Pancras International and London Kings Cross.

Stats published today show passenger rail journeys in Great Britain in 2018-19 Q2 (July to Sept) increased to 434 million (a 1.9% rise compared to 2017-18 Q2).

Rapid passenger increase on @WestMidRailway Nuneaton – Coventry line where new stations at Coventry @RicohArena & Bermuda Park opened 2016. 2017–18 data:
Coventry Arena up 15% to 99,000
Bedworth up 4% to 92,000
Bermuda Park up 41% to 28,000
Sudden passenger increase at Oxford (main) station. 20% up in 2017–18, probably driven by @chilternrailway line to Marylebone completed in 2016. Total passengers at Oxford, including @GWRHelp & @CrossCountryUK, up by 1.35 million to 7.98 million.
Rapid growth on @chilternrailway Oxford–Bicester line. In 2017–18:
@bicestervillage up 51% to 1.98 million

Islip up 74% to 34,000
In 2015 Oxford Pky opened & Bicester Village & Islip reopened. In 2016 Oxford Parkway – Oxford line reconnected.

With or without Brexit, reopening the line would be one of the best things @deptinfra could do for the border counties.
