@ICTEvangelist I really appreciate having portability, admin rights to install and test programs, inking, and a touch screen. Early on, our Ts really wanted the same device our Ss use but now that we've done this for a while, that seems less critical.

Our laser cutter is working overtime this week! So excited for the grade 5 students to see their creations and assemble their lanterns next week. #TAStigers #Makerspace #ElemSTEAM

Lanterns part 2. The Ss varnished their laser-cut designs, added paper, a hook & ribbon, and then assembled with a UHU stick. One side was left open for the tea light. The lanterns dried and we lit them up during Lantern Festival. What a sight! #TAStigers #Makerspace #ElemSTEAM
