@octal #1 may have something to do with Outlook/Exchange using a totally different set of weird proprietary headers for message threading. Many clients don’t support them because the docs are bad. Implementing it in 2014 was certainly possible, but was a nontrivial research project.

If you can find a supportive community online, it can make such a difference. In terms of knowledge (aka power) but also people who understand.

@jameslosesit @Exodus4k @devweb666 If the focus of your dysphoria is voice, you can do a lot to change it now with nothing but training. There are some good transmasc voice coaches on youtube who can get you started. Won't do as much as HRT, but the techniques will help even after you start hormones.

@jameslosesit @Exodus4k @devweb666 Is is not uncommon for transfolk without medical support to manage their own HRT. But you have to learn all about hormones, what they do, and how to to do it right. Otherwise you can really harm yourself.

@jameslosesit @Exodus4k @devweb666 Just want to confirm that starting HRT before age 18 is a normal part of trans healthcare. Where do you live? Kaiser covers all of this in California, incl SRS. But before you start, make sure the hormones do what you want. T will change body shape as well as voice, for example.

@burningman Lottery could be weighted to prioritize whatever you want (early registration, previous attendance, etc). If you want to make the cost high for resellers, have everyone prepay then issue refunds a couple months later.

@burningman Crazy idea, but what if a ticket lottery instead? It’s exactly as gameable by professional resellers as this, is less stressful, and doesn’t prioritize those who are free at noon on a weekday. Current system doesn’t even have the perception of fairness b/c it’s always broken.

@octal Looks like a syringe cap. Though FYI injectable medications are getting really common, so there are lots of legit reasons to see these laying around. (I even have a bunch at home for giving the cat his allergy shots).
