Strangely, it's moments like this that I feel most lucky to be queer. I think about our elders. How hopeless they must have felt. How easy it would have been to give up. But they fought for the life I get to live today. What an insult it would be, to them, to succumb to despair
does anyone else feel ashamed knowing that as children are being burned alive in their hospital beds, you are safe and comfortable in your home and then feel ashamed of being ashamed because it's the lightest possible burden we could have at this moment is this even coherent
It is a psychosis to have the expectation that we are to believe and accept that Palestinians should not be resisting against this; that they are ‘wrong’ to resist against the state that does this.
