Sorry, I’m not free this weekend. On Friday night, I’m busy recovering from the 5 day work week. Saturday is only 45 minutes long, and on Sunday, I’m totally occupied with a series of panic attacks because Monday is literally 30 minutes away.
@WhoknowsKina usually, we vote once, get an idea of what an administration is like, and then we vote for mayor and council and parliament with that new knowledge in mind. simultaneous election means we don't get to do that, and puts us more at risk of one party controlling everything
@WhoknowsKina ok but on a serious note I don't like the idea that the government wants to very suddenly merge both elections together, without allowing time for citizens to deliberate on the topic for too long. the whole point of a split election is to avoid a single party dominating the scene

When I was younger, I rebelled against the idea that cooking was something I was obligated to do. As I grow older, I’ve begun to fear that if I don’t learn my grandmother’s and mother’s recipes, I’ll lose the flavours I love most. Both of these things can be simultaneously true.
