SEN. DICKSON, A CLARION CALL.

Sen. @iamHSDickson this is a clarion call to do the needful to support the ADC and Atiku Abubakar. It is not too late, sir. We were on a space and you answered my questions stating that for the presidency, all opposition parties will support one presidential candidate to challenge the APC but what you are currently doing shows you are not a man of your own words and working for Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has impoverished Nigerians. Here is the recording of our conversation, sir (attached tape).

In 2023, Atiku Abubakar appointed you as the Technical Adviser on Restructuring and National Integration, and you spoke to the Bayelsa people that only Atiku can restructure and give the Bayelsa people what they want (see attached video). @iamHSDickson and i know that your 2027 presidential candidate, Peter Obi doesn't have the capacity and capability to restructure Nigeria because he has never done anything in the past to show that he can do it. As a record keeper, i have a video of him (Peter Obi) where a question was asked about resource control but he couldn't answer the question rather was talking about production. Sir, with the current issue, your party, the NDC is going through, it is time to join forces with the ADC to deliver the change that Nigerians want.

Based on the question i asked you, here is my study on 6 elections that show a divided opposition or ruling party cannot win an election.

1. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: In 2015, Gen. Buhari won the election by the merger of ACN, N-PDP, APGA, ANPP & CPC while President Jonathan lost because of the breakout of the Northern PDP leaders & 5 governors. In 2014, the 5 northern governors who left the PDP 2014 National Convention and formed the NPDP were Gov. Murtala Nyako of Adamawa, Gov. Abdullahi Adamu of Nassarawa, Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State, Gov. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State, and Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State. In the South, only Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state joined the northern bloc. Also, other Northern leaders like Bukola Saraki, House of Representatives Speaker - Hon. Waziri Tambuwal, Yakubu Dogara, Kawu Baraje, etc all left the party. Their alliance with the formation of the APC made Gen. Buhari win the presidential election.

2. EKITI ELECTION: PDP splitted into 2 that is, the Ayo Fayose camp that controls the party structure and Engr. Segun Oni. Engr. Oni left for the SDP & the vote for the PDP was divided between SDP & PDP. This made the APC win the governorship election.

3. OSUN ELECTION: The APC camp splitted between Gov. Oyetola & ex-governor Rauf Aregbeshola. Aregbeshola's camp in the APC supported Sen. Adeleke of the PDP & he (Aregbeshola) traveled on election day to the US. In the end, PDP won the Osun governorship elections with a difference of 28,344 votes.

4. EDO ELECTION: APC had 2 camps, Adam Oshiomhole & Gov. Godwin Obaseki’s Camp. The governor left the APC and joined an already established structure of the PDP (PDP had 2 senators & 4 House of Representatives members) and was given the gubernatorial ticket to fly the flag of the PDP. After the election, the governor was declared the winner.

5. IMO ELECTION: APC had 2 camps which are the Okorocha camps that formed the AA party and the Hope Uzodinma Camps. The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance party (AA), Uche Nwosu, the son-in-law of Sen. Rochas Okorocha and Hope Uzodinma lost the governorship election. The candidate of the PDP, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha was declared by INEC as the winner of the election but the Supreme Court ruled in favour of Hope Uzodinma.

6. 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: In 2022, PDP was divided into 4 groups which never won the election namely: Atiku camp, Obi camp, Kwankwaso & Wike camp. The Wike camp joined the APC to support Tinubu and they were declared winners.

I strongly believe you will do the needful for the opposition to be united.
