I walked into Dhurandhar expecting a good action film.
I walked out realizing I had just witnessed something Indian cinema has not attempted in 70 years.

Let me say this upfront:

**If you want to know who truly stands with India and who stands with narrative handlers…

Watch their reaction to this movie.
This film is a litmus test. A filter. A mirror.

Because when The Wire calls a brilliant film “as subtle as a troll” and gets 600 likes…
And a simple reply saying “Why is your pichwada on fire?” gets 3,700 likes…

You know exactly where the country’s pulse is.

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM: BOLLYWOOD NEVER SHOWED THE TRUTH

For decades, Bollywood has been a propaganda factory — not because Indians lack reality, but because reality made certain people uncomfortable.

Let’s talk history.

Mughals in India:

Patricidal, barbaric invaders who ravaged the subcontinent, destroyed temples, wiped out dynasties, and occupied Delhi.

Mughals in Bollywood:

Jodha Akbar… Mughal-e-Azam… Salim-Anarkali…
All silk curtains, roses, poetry, and fictional love stories.

The truth was replaced with aesthetic Instagram filters before Instagram even existed.

PAXTAAN: A COUNTRY RESPONSIBLE FOR GLOBAL TERROR — SOFTENED INTO A TEDDY BEAR ON SCREEN

Reality:
• IC-814 hijack
• Parliament attack
• Mumbai 1993
• Mumbai 2008
• Kashmir terror
• Global jihad funneling

Bollywood’s version:
• Bajrangi Bhaijaan: “Paxtaanis are sweet.”
• Main Hoon Na: “Bas misunderstandings hain.”
• Tiger series: India–Paxtaan bhai-bhai undercover romance.
• Pathaan: High-budget glamour shot of the same state waging hybrid war on us.

Even Border, which shows Pakistani aggression, ends in “Aman ki Asha” songs.

This is not cinema.
This is narrative engineering.

And why wouldn’t it be?

When the Mumbai underworld, funded through Paxtaan, controlled Bollywood through the 80s and 90s…

When fake currency printed across the border pumped into India…
When “superstars” danced in private parties for D-company’s kids…

What kind of films did you expect to be made?
Truth? Or convenient fiction?

ENTER DHURANDHAR — THE FIRST FILM THAT SHOWS THE MONSTER EXACTLY AS IT IS

For the first time, a mainstream film shows:

The Japanese friend continued, "How many Mughals came from Central Asia? Maybe a few thousand? And yet they ruled you for centuries."

"The Mughals did not rule India through their numbers; it was your own people who bowed to them, obeyed them, betrayed their own, and showed loyalty to the Mughals. Either to survive or for silver coins."

"Your own people betrayed your heroes to the English. Who betrayed Chandrashekhar Azad? Who informed the English about his hiding place in Alfred Park?"

"Bhagat Singh was not easily executed without the permission of those people (Gandhi-Nehrus) who called themselves patriots."

"You Indians do not need foreign enemies. Your own people repeatedly betray you for power, position, and personal gain. That is why we keep distance from Indians."

At a men’s event last week, some younger guys asked me for parenting advice. Here’s what I told them:

1) First off, anyone who says they’ve got parenting figured out is a charlatan. There’s no magic formula.

2) As a father, I focused on ONE thing above all others (and it seems to have worked):

Instilling good judgment.

Why? Because everything else is downstream from that.

If you teach your kids to make good decisions then there’s less need for specific rules and boundaries (“you can’t do this or that”)—they’ll begin to self-govern.

Judgment isn’t just about making the right decisions—it’s even more important to avoid the *wrong* decisions. Leo Tolstoy put it this way:

“People try to do all sorts of clever and difficult things instead of doing the simplest, easiest thing—refusing to participate in activities that make life bad.”

Tape Leo’s words to your kids’ bathroom mirror! Some of the smartest, wealthiest, and most talented among us are guilty of self-sabotage.

So how do you teach good judgment?

By modeling it.

As parents, our words often fall on deaf ears. But kids are incredibly astute observers—they have a front row seat to see all of *your* choices:

What you really value (not what you say you value)
Who you associate with
How you use your time
How you manage your money
How you treat others
Your personal boundaries
How you deal with impulses and temptation
How disciplined and consistent you are
How you face fear and hardship (and triumph)
The lifestyle you choose

Over time, your decisions form a pattern—a framework your kids absorb.

If you don’t like your kids’ behavior, step one is to take a look in the mirror. The apple usually doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Do you embody the behaviors you want your kids to adopt?

My wife and I have made plenty of mistakes as parents—but both of our girls (now 18 and 20) are good decision-makers. It’s my proudest accomplishment.

In fact, these days they call *me* out when I make a questionable decision.

That’s when you know the training is complete.
