Today, hope has won over darkness and it’s a New Dawn for Andhra Pradesh. For years, the people of our state have hoped, fought, and held on to the vision of a capital that belongs to them.

His inspiring address has renewed our commitment to work harder for the progress of our state. 🤔📒 Infra data shared at recent Nat Conf of Chief Secretaries (1) There are 1768 delayed central infra projects worth Rs 27 lakh crore (2) Top reason for delay is Land Acquisition (3) Share of pvt investment in Infra fell from high of 35% in 2016 to 25% in 2019. Much to address.

🗃 PPP revival in focus. FinMin revives IIPDF ( India Infra Project Dev Fund ) initially mooted in FY08 Budget. Made active again with outlay of Rs 150 crores to support central & state authorities to professionally structure PPPs with assistance up to Rs 5 crores per project.

👇 useful chart from FinExp on infra investment. Add another (approx) Rs 2 lakh crs of pvt investment in infra & we get a total of Rs 16.3 lakh crs. GDP at current prices in FY22 was Rs 237 lakh crs. So there's about 6.8% of GDP invested in Infra. Not bad for a pandemic period.
