राज्यसभा में 'स्पेशल मेंशन' के दौरान मैंने एनएच-48 पर धौला कुआं से गुरुग्राम तक भीषण ट्रैफिक जाम और वैकल्पिक मार्गों के विकास की समस्या को उठाया था। प्रसन्नता की बात है कि सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने तुरंत कार्रवाई की है। दिल्ली में डीपीआर तैयार हो चुकी है, जिसमें धौला कुआं-आईजीआई एयरपोर्ट-गुरुग्राम खंड पर शीव मूर्ति (महिपालपुर) से नेल्सन मंडेला मार्ग तक सुरंग का निर्माण और एनएच-48 से द्वारका एक्सप्रेसवे को जोड़ने वाला इंटरचेंज शामिल है।
इसके अलावा, मंत्रालय ने इन स्ट्रेचों के लिए डीपीआर शुरू कर दिया है:
आंधेरिया-मॉड से दिल्ली-गुरुग्राम रोड बॉर्डर तक सेक्शन
रंगपुरी बाईपास
एआईएमएस-महिपालपुर-गुरुग्राम एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर

ये कदम दिल्ली-एनसीआर के यातायात को सुगम बनाने में मील का पत्थर साबित होंगे। निवेश और क्रियान्वयन पीएम गति शक्ति नेशनल मास्टर प्लान के अनुरूप होगा। जनता की आवाज सुनना ही हमारी पहली प्राथमिकता है।
