Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Central Jail.
◾In August 2023, the Union Home Ministry issued an order under Section 268 CrPC restricting his removal from that prison. After the new criminal laws came into force, the restriction continued under Section 303 BNSS.

◾Home Ministry (Amit Shah) renewed it again in August 2025 for a third consecutive year, meaning he could not be moved out of Sabarmati while that order remained in force, questioning and court appearances could instead take place there by video.

Mumbai Police alleged Lawrence directly communicated with accused in the Salman Khan firing case from inside Sabarmati Jail. Mumbai Police officials have said the restriction prevented them from obtaining Lawrence Bishnoi's custody even after identifying an alleged role in the Salman Khan residence firing case.
Union Home Ministry order has restricted Lawrence Bishnoi removal from that jail, preventing Mumbai Police from taking his custody.

On 1 February 2026, five rounds were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence while he was home. Mumbai Police later filed a 1,624-page MCOCA chargesheet against 17 accused, saying the firing was carried out by a group linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to establish the gang’s supremacy

लखनऊ। राजधानी के बहुचर्चित शिवा शर्मा हत्याकांड में अब एक नया मोड़ आ गया है। नौ दिनों से पुलिस को चकमा दे रही 25 हजार की इनामी मॉडल ब्लैकमेल क्वीन श्रद्धा दुबे ने कथित तौर पर लखनऊ जिला अदालत में सरेंडर की अर्जी दाखिल की है। लखनऊ की पुलिस बहुत श्रद्धाभाव के साथ श्रद्धा दुबे की तलाश में है। जांच नहीं बल्कि जांच के नाम पर नाटक और असल मामले से गुमराह करने की पुलिस की नाकाम कोशिशें जारी है। लखनऊ पुलिस श्रद्धा के रसूख के सामने सरेंडर है।

इस बीच श्रद्धा की स्कॉर्पियो चलाने वाले ड्राइवर के हवाले से सामने आए दावों ने मामले को और सनसनीखेज बना दिया है।

देर रात की पार्टियां, महंगे कैफे और चलती स्कॉर्पियो से लोगों को आकर्षित करने का कथित खेल! ड्राइवर के हवाले से प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि श्रद्धा रात में सज-धजकर निकलती थी और स्कॉर्पियो के शीशे नीचे करके लोगों का ध्यान अपनी तरफ खींचती थी। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, किसी व्यक्ति से संपर्क बनने के बाद वह उसकी गाड़ी में बैठ जाती थी।

उधर, कारोबारी शिवा शर्मा की चौथी मंजिल से गिरकर हुई रहस्यमय मौत अब भी कई सवाल खड़े कर रही है। परिवार का आरोप है कि शिवा की हत्या की गई, जबकि श्रद्धा अपने वायरल वीडियो में खुद को निर्दोष बताते हुए आत्महत्या का दावा कर चुकी है।

श्रद्धा, उसकी बहन और ड्राइवर पर 25-25 हजार रुपये का इनाम घोषित किया गया है। पुलिस की दस टीमें आरोपियों की तलाश में लगाई गई थीं।

सबसे बड़ा सवाल शिवा की मौत के पीछे क्या हुआ था? श्रद्धा के सरेंडर के बाद क्या उस रात का सच सामने आएगा? और ड्राइवर के कथित खुलासों में कितनी सच्चाई है?
