We initiated far ahead, passed the bills by Upper House in 2078 Shrawan. Pakistan passed bills by both House recently to separate CAAP and Airport's Operator to strengthen safety oversight and to pave way for Pakistan Airlines’s flights to Europe and USA.

Is this is the way to run the Aviation in this age? In stead of waiting incidents or accidents to happen and React, need to focus on Safety Management principles. Relieving the regulator from the heavy burden of Operational Functions is the pre-requisite for regulatory reform.
Talking about pilot error or technical issues are mindset of ‘70s and ‘80s. Aviation has moved far ahead with a total system approach through safety mgmt principles to address safety risks. Regulatory reform is a must to ensure safety among operators and within regulator itself.
@udayasjbrana When I was in office (as DG) & PM himself was looking after Tourism Ministry, I made a detail briefing to then Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister GB Karki to expedite these very crucial bills. Unfortunately, these bills were put on hold during NC led government’s period.🙏
