My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
The name “Krishna” signifies absolute attraction. To overcome the illusions of the material world, one must find something far more captivating to focus on. Krishna is that ultimate attraction at every stage of life: a mischievous companion for children, a talented friend for the youth, a valiant hero for the courageous, “Yogeshwar” for seekers, a master strategist for leaders, and the source of ultimate wisdom for elders.

It's very clear seeing the leading signals on social media: Every news, and more fake news, are going to be used by the DS to instigate Indians against the PM and GoI in the coming months. It's going to be a barrage, no a deluge, of negative news (mainly Reuters, Bloomberg, WSJ, FT) and propaganda to try disillusion the most hardcore supporters. To prepare the base for protests and anarchy to try create govt instability in India. But they will fail in the end. Because these losers, the communists and islamists, don't get India.
I can clearly see India's adversaries (put any globalist, Islamist, communist country here as you like) are hard at work creating issues between India and the new Govt of Nepal.
They are creating people to people fights and issues using social media and also media by planting stories using their agents.
Before we react to anything anti-India from Nepal or vice-versa (requesting our Nepali brothers & sisters as well), let's stop and calm down thinking the fight is being engineered.
Sure, there can be real issues between India and Nepal due to the new govt, policies etc, but GoI will surely take care of them as they arise. There's no need for us to target Nepalis or pick up fights on behalf of anyone.
Let's understand the plan of the adversaries and be smarter, so they can't use us to create people to people fights between democracies.
Which can later be used to influence or force governments to take anti-neighborly actions. Also, again a humble request to MIB - check what's happening on SM and Nepali media/SM, do something!

Open letter to Indians in America.
--
Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat:
Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way.
Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned.
You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict.
Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect.
Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself.
As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal.
Respectfully
Sridhar Vembu
Will definitely use this line from now if some westerner insists Alexander "defeated" King Paurava:
"LOL - your greatest conqueror in history shat his pants after barely defeating one of our random minor kings, and his army morale dropped so hard, it made him cry like a baby."
Btw, this king was so random and minor, he is not even mentioned in Indian sources.
- And he retained his kingdom after the war with Alexander.
- Not only that, Porus' kingdom was significantly expanded west after the war.
- Which was all annexed by Chandragupta Maurya later after Porus. Not the Greeks or their satraps.
- And Alexander forces mutinied declining to march further east.
My strong belief is that Greek sources made the defeat into "hard fought win", Porus retaining the kingdom into "Alexander reinstated him", and Porus expanding his kingdom significantly to the west as "Alexander gifted Porus land."
Only a fool will do all these. These claims (most of them conflicting even in Greek sources) were cherry picked and made into facts by modern western scholars for they could not accept a minor Indian king with his war elephants defeated Alexander.
Indian sources do not talk anything about this Alexander's war to the west of Indus not because they weren't recording (so many other great Indian literature was being created long before and around that time). But because the war was so minor by Indian standards and the invader was chased away quickly.
India enters a new era of nuclear strength.
The Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam stands as a symbol of our technological excellence and national ambition. By harnessing our vast thorium reserves, Bharat is taking a decisive step towards energy supremacy and long-term self-reliance.
Guided by the bold and visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, this achievement reinforces India’s rise as a global energy leader.
Congratulations to our dedicated scientists and engineers on this remarkable milestone.

Today, India takes a defining step in its civil nuclear journey, advancing the second stage of its nuclear programme.
The indigenously designed and built Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam has attained criticality.
This advanced reactor, capable of producing more fuel than it consumes, reflects the depth of our scientific capability and the strength of our engineering enterprise. It is a decisive step towards harnessing our vast thorium reserves in the third stage of the programme.
A proud moment for India. Congratulations to our scientists and engineers.
Today is a historic day. India has entered 2nd stage of our three stage nuclear power program with the achievement of clriticality of PFBR. Congratulations to every contributor to this critical technology that makes India only the second country to operate a large fast reactor.
So I just heard Artemis-II mission control speak to crew and figured NASA dumps toilet waste into space daily.
Imagine if ISRO did that, how would the internet have been made to react by the thousands of online hate machine trolls funded against India by adversaries?
Abuse me all you want, but Yogi should not pay for the Centre’s blunders. Don’t scapegoat the one CM who has actually tried to impose order on a chronically misgoverned state.
Yogi is among the rare CMs running a large, complex state toward development, with no appeasement, no reckless freebie culture, and zero tolerance toward extremism and organised crime. While other states proudly market cash doles and monthly handouts as “development models,” even the so-called DMK development model runs Ladli Behna–type cash schemes, yet UP has resisted that temptation so far. What the future holds, I don’t know. Pressure politics exists, especially if Akhilesh starts dangling promises, but till now, UP has held the line.
Yes, democracy forces you to perform a few symbolic rituals you may personally dislike. That’s the price of electoral politics. But symbolism is not governance, and optics are not law and order.
If Yogi goes and Akhilesh returns, UP regresses straight back ten years: an era where the state bent before Azam Khan, Mukhtar Ansari, and Atiq Ahmed were power centres, organised crime thrived, police stations were ornamental, and appeasement was state policy. Don't let it happen.
In a significant move to reimagine rural education, a MoU was signed between the School Education Department, Government of Maharashtra and Art of Living Sri Sri Rural Development Programme Trust (SSRDPT) to uplift 150 government-aided schools across 10 districts.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, senior government officials and Shri Prasana Prabhu, Chairman, Art of Living SSRDP.
This collaboration aims to enhance digital infrastructure, upgrade physical facilities, and introduce holistic wellbeing and capacity-building programs for students and teachers alike.
A shared step towards making government schools aspirational spaces of learning and growth.

A cobra sits on the Shivling in the ashram, enjoying its energy. On Nagpanchami, the nag (cobra) rejoices in its rightful place. The whole Nature celebrates Shiv Bhakti.
Often, what seems convenient only gives the illusion of comfort. For the wise, comfort comes from commitment. For the lazy, commitment feels like a burden, though it’s a remedy.
We’re confronted with a jarring reality. A Judge’s residence in Lutyen's Delhi had burnt notes and cash. There is no FIR till date.
We have in the country rule of law, criminal justice system. There can be no occasion whatsoever to delay even for a moment because that is ordainment of law.
The rule of law is the very foundation of society. #Democracy has to be defined primarily by three aspects: expression, dialogue and accountability.
Therefore, if we have to really nurture democracy, it is inescapable that we hold every institution and every individual accountable and in accordance with law.
The surest way to degenerate an individual or bring down an institution is to keep it away from probe and scrutiny, which means that the individual becomes law unto oneself. #Constitution
