A rested workforce serves the public better. With staff shortages and rising stress, 5-day banking is a service-quality issue, not a “perk.” UFBU has pursued this since 2015; IBA has recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and it’s included in the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024), pending clearances.
Let’s finish what’s already agreed.

AIBOC(WB) requests @MamataOfficial@Chandrimaaitc for kindly considering holiday on #Diwali falling on 21st Oct under N.I Act so as to enable all the citizenry of WB including Bank employees to celebrate the festival like other states. Hope considerate CM will consider it.
AIBOC( WB) writes to @MamataOfficial@Chandrimaaitc requesting reinstate holiday on #Janmashtami on Aug 16. When 21 States & UTs have declared holiday under NI Act,why lacs of Bankers in #WB would be denied of significant Hindu Festival.Hope considerate CM will consider it.
Thanks a lot @supriya_sule Taisaheb 🙏🏻

Bankers are compelled to express their profound concern regarding protracted delay in implementing #5DaysBanking even after giving written assurances & #AcuteStaffShortageinPSB leading to customer/Employee dissatisfaction, frequent intimidation.
The world was created for all to thrive, but humanity struggles to maintain peace and safety.Women,in particular, suffer deeply, facing exploitation and harassment in both the workplace and society. This issue stems from moral decay,a failing value education and the erosion of ethics
We call on all members to join us on August 19th, during “Rakhi Utsav,” to stand in solidarity for justice. Our protest demands safety for all, especially women. Assemble at the designated venues to tie rakhis and engage with the public to raise awareness and demand changes.
Thank you, Hon’ble Prime Minister, for your appreciation of PSU Banks. The employees and officers in public sector banks are dedicatedly serving the citizens of this country 24/7, despite facing staff shortages and numerous workplace challenges. The employee-to-customer ratio in private banks is significantly higher compared to public sector banks.
To secure better working conditions for public sector bankers, an agreement was reached between the IBA and Banking Unions and Associations on 8th March 2024 to introduce a ‘5-day work week’ in banks. We kindly request your esteemed office to intervene and officially declare a ‘5-day work week’ for the banking sector. This will help reduce stress and fatigue thereby improving the productivity of bank employees and enabling them to serve the fellow citizens with renewed enthusiasm.
A truly momentous achievement for India!🇮🇳

If there was not such big big haircut, if there was a stringent law to catch hold of deliberate big defaulters, then the profit of the banks would be much more. Despite having all sorts of hindrances the PSBs are performing well. Kudos to the PSB employees.
Red salute to the Comrades of BGBOA for their united protest against calling Police to protect the unlawful activities of the management. Management is crossing the limits of tolerance. Apex trade union should interfere into the heinous attitude of the management.
@SunilKu92687431 PSBs all playing stellar role to strengthen the Indian Economy but their efforts are eaten away by Crony Capitalists. In last 5 years Rs 9.92 lakhs crore written off .They are adopting loot -& -escape.One after another they fled the country.

Since inception of NCLT(Dec'16) till Mar'22, Rs 6.84 lakh crore of NPAs have been resolved yielding a realisation of only Rs 2.25 lakh crore!, i.e. a haircut of 67% for the banks. It is nothing but Corporate Loot.

Central Bank of India to close 600 branches by March 2023,whereas HDFC is to open 2000 branches per year.
Banking industry needs protest from the employees irrespective of cadre ,irrespective of colour without depending on outsourced force.
The govt is selling off the country to the chosen corporates who are exploiting the citizenry. Any attempt to table the banking amendment bill will be encountered with country wide resistance that will be reflected in the EVMs.

@RBI has restored Market Trading hours w. e. f 18th April '22 which was from 9 AM during Pre pandemic https://t.co/I11CQNgQ3Z has nothing to do with the normal working hours of PSU banks . Unnecessary misinterpretation by some media.

Is it not sufficient for coming out of hibernation? We all should go all out.
