Our school system failed us miserably on this continent and the evidence is that we are still, in the year 2026, explaining colonialism, neocolonialism and neoliberalism to people who have access to the same internet we do.
Still drawing the straight line between the assassination of our independence leaders, their replacement by colonial thugs and armed compradors trained to hate and dispossess their own people for tokens, the deliberate engineering of our apathy through religion and entertainment, and the current global order of extraction that runs on African exploitation.
It is like explaining calculus to someone who is still negotiating with the concept of numbers. The intellectual labor is bottomless and the audience is inexhaustible. And the more I do it, the more I suspect that is precisely the design. Not a failure of the system but a feature of it. Keep the activists buried in debunking myths about African inferiority, keep us perpetually performing the basics for the unconvinced, so that we never get to the actual work of dismantling the machinery itself.
We are not losing because we lack the argument. We are losing because we are too busy making it.
Sometimes, having a history with someone can make you think that outgrowing them is betraying them. It's evolution, not betrayal. Love them from a distance, but don't pause your journey waiting for them to catch up, because love is never about staying small so they can feel tall.

The U.S. and Trump should be taken accountable for what they’ve done to Iran. They started the war without the reasons and killed the children and the political and religious legitimate leaders. They have to pay before any peace talks would be possible.
most men walk into the arena hoping nothing goes wrong.
once youve been in the trenches for a while, you start hoping something does go wrong, and quick.
“You find someone hiding behind a religion, hiding behind a church, setting up something that is only meant to serve their own interests and rob others. Everything becomes something anyone can just put up, like putting a barrier somewhere, stopping people, pretending to be what you are not, and then starting to take away people’s property. Saying, ‘You do not pass here unless you first bring this wealth.’
That should not happen in any religion, of whatever kind. That is different from persecuting religions or churches. Putting things in order is not persecution. When you are putting things in order, when people tell you that we know religion exists, and should exist, to do certain things: to teach, to reach citizens, to help them, and as you have said, even among Muslims, you have put in place ways of helping in education, in health, and in different areas, that is what should be done. Not robbing people. Not denying them a livelihood. Not taking what belongs to them so that a few individuals become rich and are the only ones who prosper. That has happened everywhere, across religions and churches.” President Kagame | Rwandan Muslim Community #MeetThePresident

God will literally sit you down and break you to humble you, then will isolate you to build you. Then give you back everything 10x to prove to you He’s real and everything is for a reason. Keep your trust in Him.
