My response to @RepFletcher ‘s decision to not attend the SOTU earlier this week.

Look, we all have blind spots. Representatives up in D.C., who are far away from their Constituents back home, definitely have blind spots. But Representatives that consistently and deliberately show blind spots become guilty of more than absent-mindedness. It becomes evident that the blindness is willful, and that it is neglectful. And that neglect breeds mediocrity and dissatisfaction back home.

People like Rep Fletcher are all so blinded by their hate for @realDonaldTrump or Republicans that they can’t even agree with defending Americans. You can’t stand in support of prioritizing American citizens first? It’s quite obtuse and leprous.

I’m unwilling to accept mediocrity in CD7 anymore. I know many of you feel the same way, and so I want to hear from you: in what ways do you feel neglected? Let me know in a DM, or in the comments below.
