For over a year, villagers have protested Malbros Distillery's pollution. They suffered deadly diseases, receiving only half-hearted assurances from @BhagwantMann and deceitful tactics from @PunjabGovtIndia.

Surprisingly, #ZiraSanjhaMorcha got to know about a criminal case which @ppcbgovt has filed against Malbros Distillery under Water Act.

@CMOPb & @meet_hayer owe an explanation regarding this ‘surprising’ case:
1. Why hasn't @PunjabGovtIndia made committee reports on Malbros pollution public?
2. Why was this case filed only after @CPCB_OFFICIAL visited distillery?
3. Why did @PunjabGovtIndia keep public, protesters, and media unaware of this case? Is it because Gautam Malhotra, one of the respondent in this case, was previously arrested by ED in Delhi Liquor Scam case?
4. Now since a criminal case has been filed against distillery’s pollution, will @CMOPb @CsPunjab recover ₹ 20 Crores it paid as damages to Malbros?
