धर्मेंद्र प्रधान जी ने अपने कार्यकाल में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (NEP) के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन, मातृभाषाओं में परीक्षाओं की व्यवस्था, पीएम श्री विद्यालयों के विस्तार, डिजिटल शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने, कौशल विकास एवं उद्योग-अकादमिक समन्वय को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण सुधार किए हैं। परीक्षा प्रणाली को अधिक समावेशी और छात्र-केंद्रित बनाने की दिशा में भी उनके प्रयास उल्लेखनीय रहे हैं। उनका कार्यकाल भारत को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने के संकल्प के प्रति उनके समर्पण का परिचायक है।
