ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਕਿਉਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਨਖਾਹੀਆਂ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਜਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੀ ??
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਕੌੜਾ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿੱਛਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਜਰ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਨਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਵੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਜਾ (ਤਨਖਾਹ ਲੱਗਣੀ) ਵੀ ਮਿਲਣੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਕੀ ਤੇ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਹ ਤੱਥ ਵੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਨੁੰਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਨੁੰਮਾਇੰਦਾ ਜਮਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਕੰਮ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਜੋ ਆਪ ਭਾਂਵੇ ਸੁਨਾਰੀਆ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੰਥਕ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਦੁਫੇੜ ਖੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਬਤੌਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੰਨਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ 1920 ਵਿਚ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਉਚਿੱਤ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਪਰ ਸਜਾ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਓਟਣੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਮਰਜ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਰੀਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਗੁਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਤ ਜੱਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਇਸ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਦੌਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਸੇਧ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੀ ‘ਅਥਾਰਟੀ’ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਕੇ “*ਸੁਧਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ*”ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਨੁੰਮਾਇੰਦਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕਜੁੱਟ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਪੰਥ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਕ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ “*ਜਰੂਰਤ ਸੀ, ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਹੇਗੀ”*।ਮੈਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਖੜਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪੰਥਕ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਭਾਂਵੇਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਮਤਭੇਦ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ l
