@KeithSmithNBA Hey, Keith, just wanted to share this Spotrac transactions' nugget with you. We need Rose Rule language in all the reckless chair swinging fines
@Celtics_PRam@HoopsAnalyst Embry worked for the Bucks' front office when they traded for Lanier and later signed Cowens out of retirement, and Bob was much more useful in Milwaukee than Dave, so I think Wayne is a bit biased here
Same reason he always put Marques Johnson in his all-time SF lists

@smilodonjosh They were 35-37 but the point differential was 2nd-best, higher than 49-win Hawks
That was the 5th best pt/diff in the shot clock era to that point. And after that, until 1964, only the championship Celtics have been surpassing that +4 pt/diff
Nats just couldn't close out games
@JADubin5 There are, like, dozens of better Jewish players in the history of basketball than Farmar and Avdija, lol. From Schayes and Holman and Holzman and LaRusso and all the SPHAs to Brody, Jamchi, Berkovich
@SportInfo247 If one player gets 10m20s of playing time, another gets 10m20s and the third gets 27m20s, all adds up to full 48, who gets the extra minute in the boxscore?
@KyraLifer Oh, I meant there that guys like Luisetti and Schommer and Steinmetz are often included in various historical tops and rankings, but because they had never played professional basketball, I've never studied their legacies
@KyraLifer Tough question - we're talking 50 years of basketball! The list is nice. I'd probably go with Pop Gates or maybe someone from the Original Celtics instead of Leroy, but he's also a 100% worthy candidate
Also college legends who'd never gone pro, but I'm not familiar with that
@MarkDeeksNBA Started referring to my IKEA shoe rack as "Bobby" because its model was named "Portis"
I memorize numerical values by thinking of them as players' jersey numbers. Like, 45 is "Lafrentz", 3688 is "SmartBatum"
(also met my wife through basketball writing, but that one is obvious)
