Just released Part 3 of the UE5 Weapon System series.
We finally add real firing logic: Fire Input, FirePoint, firing montage, muzzle sound, and a camera based line trace that hits exactly where you aim.
If you’re building a shooter in Unreal, this episode is a must.

Deprecating Blueprints and the Actor system in Unreal Engine 6 doesn't just break existing project logic, it completely wipes out over a decade of community tutorials, educational courses, and documentation.
Epic, please reconsider. Keep visual scripting alive alongside Verse.

The final video of my Basic Enemy AI series will be released on Monday.
In this series, we built the foundation for Enemy AI in Unreal Engine 5, including enemy sight, hearing, distraction, pathfinding, patrol logic, player weapon system, destructible objects, modular health components, damage reactions, and finally the ragdoll death system.
You can find the full playlist here:

After this final Basic AI episode, uploads may slow down a little because the next stage needs more planning, testing, and production time.
The next big goal is the Advanced AI series, where I want to cover Behavior Trees, Blackboards, smarter decision making, better aiming systems, weaponized enemies that can actually attack and kill the player, more natural patrol behavior, and more complex NPC systems.
After that, I also want to start building a modular inventory system.
I also know there are still promises I need to continue, especially the RTS series. I have not forgotten about it.
The honest truth is that I still work a full-time job, and I create these tutorials in my extra time. That is why I cannot publish as fast as I want. But I am trying to keep the videos free, practical, and useful for everyone learning Unreal Engine.
So if these videos have helped you, supporting the channel through the Thanks button or by joining the channel really helps me spend more time creating tutorials, testing systems properly, and building better free content for you.
Also, please tell me what you want to see first:
Advanced AI, Inventory System, RTS Series, or something else?
Your feedback helps me choose the right direction.
Thank you for watching, learning, commenting, and supporting the channel. I really appreciate it.

A dark day for freedom. Charlie Kirk, a man who stood for open debate and free speech, was assassinated. Not because of anything he did wrong, but because the far left couldn’t defeat his ideas. We must stop the radical left before more voices are lost. #CharlieKirk#FreeSpeech
Skull Cave - Silence in Depths by Environment Artist Awais Azhar is a fully explorable 360 dark fantasy scene intended for audience exploration and was made using Quixel assets💀
To push himself creatively, he set a challenge to himself to use only assets from the Dark Ruins sample project.
"Limiting yourself to a single asset pack or strictly controlling your asset pool size can be a great way to spark creativity and improve problem-solving. For this project, I worked exclusively with the Dark Ruins sample assets, using Unreal's Modeling Tools to reshape and customize them. With just a few adjustments, you can create entirely new variations from the same base mesh — all within the engine." - Awais Azhar

Mountain Shrine by Environment Artist David Szieber is a serene Japanese mountain shrine environment built in Unreal Engine and Substance 3D Designer and is a personal tribute to traditional architecture. The project is a great reference for structure detailing, natural composition, and the use of warm lighting to build peaceful exploration spaces.
"I was very pleased with the material layering system in Unreal as it helped me keep a very consistent look for my meshes throughout my project using only a small material library." - David Szieber
