Innalillah wainaillehi rajiuun.

Indeed death is inevitable,it has inevitably taken our Sheikh and scholar Sheikh Omar as he is profoundly referred to.
Sheikh Omar was amongst the early scholars who started the Muslim religion in Marsabit.

He personally taught me the little i know of Islamic religion,his wisdom and understanding of religion is beyond mere words.He had a way of preaching that was captivating,he could give summons and when he does everyone else forgets everything else ,he or she is doing when he is on the palpit.

He has mastered teaching Islam while incorporating real live stories that affect everyone every day.

He taught so many madrassa teachers who have gone beyond Kenyan territories,he had a charming personality which invited everyone near to him.

Wherever he preaches in the mosque at Jamia Masjid especially during Ramadhan we could forget thirst and hunger since his teachings are so captivating his was another level of wisdom and knowledge of Islamic religion.

He could be said to be the man who oversaw almost every other Nikha ceremony in Marsabit .if those days are looked flash backed he was beacon of religious light ,he had a way of addressing ethnic flareaps always referring to the teaching of Prophet(PBH ) that has affected Marsabit from time to time.
During Eid days n Eid that Sheikh Omar didn't preach was like it was incomplete at the Marsabit stadium.
Sheikh Omar has been a father ,a mentor per excellence,a religious figure of great respect.
May Almighty pay him abundantly for his teachings in this world.
May Almighty grant him Janatul Firdhauz.
Every Friday I pray in Marsabit Jamia mosque we eat lunch together.

May Almighty pardon Hus short comings.
