منور چورنگی انڈر پاس کی میئر کراچی اور وزیر بلدیات نے صرف سافٹ اوپننگ کی ہے ، سافٹ اوپننگ کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ اس کے دونوں طرف کے سلپ روڈ / سروس لین کو بند کرنا پڑے گا تاکہ اب ان پر کام ہو ، اگر سافٹ اوپننگ نہیں کی جاتی تو سروس لین / سلپ روڈ سے گزرنے والی ٹریفک کو متبادل راستہ نہیں ملتا ۔
جس کے بعد لوگ بے جا تنقید کر رہے ہیں کہ منصوبہ مکمل ہونے سے پہلے ٹریفک کے لیئے کھول دیا گیا ہے ، اس میں چند عدد الطافی گٹکے خور شامل ہیں جو بلاوجہ لوگوں کو غلط معلومات دے رہے ہیں ۔
حالانکہ میئر کراچی اور وزیر بلدیات نے پریس کانفرنس میں کہا بھی ہے کہ اب سروس لین پر کام شروع ہوگا جو ایک مہینے کے اندر مکمل ہوجائے گا جس کے بعد اس انڈر پاس کا باقائدہ افتتاح کیا جائے گا ۔

Munawar Chowrangi Underpass after being completed before schedule was today opened for public. With the opening of underpass, the slip and service lanes can now be closed for reconstruction. Hopefully, this will also be completed in the next one and a half month. Will keep everyone posted 🙏 #KarachiWorks

شاہراہ بھٹو، عظیم پورہ فلائی اوور برج، کریم آباد انڈر پاس کے بعد منور چورنگی انڈر پاس کی سافٹ اوپننگ کردی گئی ہے ۔
اب جوہر موڑ سے ہوتے ہوئے جوہر چورنگی کو کراس کرتے منور چورنگی انڈر پاس سے کامران چورنگی کی سمت سے آنے والی ٹریفک کو بغیر سگنل کے جوہر چورنگی/سفاری پارک کی طرف روانہ کرنا ہے، جس سے منور چورنگی پر ٹریفک کا دباؤ کم ہو۔ انڈر پاس کی لمبائی تقریباً 500 میٹر ہے اور یہ دوطرفہ ٹریفک کے لیے بنایا گیا ہے۔

@HtotheQ @MuzzImran yes this very unfortunate Chief, i still think we need to bring Ali Raza, Aqif Javed in for Red Bowl and groom them for a longer version..these guys do have potential and can do wonders in red ball format....just hope n pray that we can go back to find our spine again...

Jinnah Avenue right now 🧿 Traffic is flowing smoothly after the reconstruction work. This is a short term solution taken for public convenience by improving the sewerage system and road. However, the long term solution is under planning phase with a new underpass being planned under the Malir Halt Bridge #KarachiWorks

Sent this by a few. For those interested:

- This is a splice of 2 docs and the 2 docs from which these are extracted are not new leaks
- The underlying existence of the consultancy between Mancini and his company with Al Jazira won’t have been in dispute at the hearing - the agreements obviously existed. City also will have admitted they were entered into at the same time (impossible not to)
- The documents spliced are heads of terms not the formal agreements nor signed as deeds
- The fact that, say, Simon Pearce or another individual was authorised to sign a heads for 2 related entities is not, in of itself revelatory
- AJ has always been owned by Sheikh Mansour (he’s the Chairman there) so probable that it had some common authorised signaturees
- The final consultancy agreement was signed by Phil Anderson for AJ and Mancini’s service company
- Mancini has always claimed the consultancy was genuine and taxed properly at his end - it’s unlikely he said differently in any hearing (if called).
- The rules around disclosure of all agreements with managers were not the same in 2010 as now
- The question remains a) whether the PL can establish it was artificial b) whether related consultancies of this type were prohibited by the rules if not artificial
