@leitaomd I share your concern. Frozen section for SLNs is problematic. Detection rate for Mets only about 50%. Also there is the concern of ruining the node for ultra staging. And performing LND-well that doesn’t make sense to me. Is this an expert opinion or an evidence based guideline?
@RiosDoriaMD Wonderful work Eric. My conclusion from your excellent paper is that you have to do 160 lymph node surgeries to find one occult node in this population. 0.6%. Is it really worth it?
