Highlighting that annual foreign funding ranges between Rs. 23,000 and Rs. 24,000 crore, with roughly Rs. 2,300 crore directed to churches.

He questions the distribution and purpose of the remaining funds.

🌳 China built a wall of trees.

It’s well known that China is the leader in most green technologies - solar, wind, batteries, electric cars and more.

It’s less well known that China over the last ten years has emerged as world leader in nature conservation as well. China is establishing the world’s largest national park system. It has been very successful in bringing back from extinction the giant panda, the snow leopard and many other species.

And for nearly 50 years, China has been planting trees. China is the world’s lead tree planter - by a mile.

I have witnessed this myself - on vists to Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Xinjiang and many other provinces.

🌱 More than 66 billion trees have already been planted.

Satellite data suggests man-made forests have expanded their leaf canopy very fast and have a high survival rate.

🌿 To help Mother Earth we need to protect old forests. We also need to plant billions of trees. We need both!
