🔶 माननीय उपराज्यपाल सरदार तरणजीत सिंह संधु के मार्गदर्शन में 20 जून, 2026 से शुरू "थाना दिवस जन सुनवाई" के छः सत्रों में नागरिकों द्वारा साझा की गई 3902 शिकायतों में से 3447 का निपटारा किया गया।

🔸 संयुक्त आयुक्त से सहायक आयुक्त स्तर के पुलिस अधिकारियों द्वारा थाना स्तर पर जाकर नागरिकों से सीधे संवाद कर शिकायतों का संज्ञान लिया गया।

🔸 यह पहल शिकायतों का समयबद्ध निस्तारण करने के साथ हीं पुलिस और जनता के बीच विश्वास, सहयोग और सहभागिता को मजबूत कर रही है।

🔸 बकाया शिकायतों के भी उचित निवारण के लिए कानूनी प्रकिया जारी है।

In view of the movement of Kanwar Yatris during Kanwar Yatra–2026, traffic movement on NH-44 (GT Karnal Road), Outer Ring Road and adjoining roads in Northern Range is likely to remain regulated to facilitate the safe and smooth passage of devotees.

Commuters are advised to:

Plan their journey in advance and allow extra travel time.

Use the suggested alternate routes wherever possible.

Avoid NH-44, Outer Ring Road and service roads during peak Kanwariya movement.

Follow the directions of Traffic Police personnel and Variable Message Signboards (VMS).

Please note that movement of Kanwar Yatris is strictly prohibited on the UER-II Expressway in the interest of their safety.

Your cooperation will help ensure the safe movement of Kanwar Yatris and smooth traffic flow for all road users.
