The most dominant factor of my life has been my Guru, and nothing else. Even today, in my mind, or rather literally in every crevice of my body, in every pulsation of my system, and in my very energy, it is his presence that is the most dominant within me. To keep it this way has been easy for me because I do not have a mind of my own. Probably because of this, just about everything in me reverberates in a way that is far beyond me, far bigger than me.

I did not see my Guru as a man who touched me, though his touch brought me to the highest level of experience, and a revelation of life and beyond. The old mental structure within me somewhere would not accept a human being as a Guru, because it was said that unless it comes from Adiyogi, unless it comes from Shiva himself, it is not real. So the compassion of my Master made him turn himself into the form of Shiva.

I do not know if this was his act that he turned himself into this form, or if that is how he really was at that time. But this experience has left me in a place where ever since, I do not have to make any attempt to know anything. Whatever I need to know, He [Guru] and He [Shiva] are there, all the time.

గేటెడ్ కమ్యూనిటీ అపార్ట్‌మెంట్లో ఎవరైనా చనిపోతే ఎలా?

గత ఐదేళ్లుగా చూస్తున్నా. ఎవరైనా చనిపోయినా, చనిపోయే పరిస్థితిలో ఉన్నా ముందు ఆస్పత్రికి తీసుకెళ్తారు. తర్వాత ఆస్పత్రిలో ఫార్మాలిటీలన్నీ పూర్తి చేసుకుని, వాట్సాప్ గ్రూపుల్లో మరణ సమాచారం పెట్టి, అంబులెన్స్ వ్యాన్ కమ్యూనిటీలోకి తీసుకొచ్చి, అరగంటపాటు అందరి చివరిచూపునకు ఉంచి, సొంత గ్రామానికి తీసుకెళ్తారు.

సొంత గ్రామంలో ఇల్లూ వాకిలీ లేకపోతే? కొన్ని తరాలుగా సొంత గ్రామమే హైదరాబాద్ అయితే?

ఇవాళ దగ్గర నుంచి చూశా.

మిత్రుడి తల్లి చనిపోయింది. ఎనభై ఏళ్లు దాటాయి. వృద్ధాప్యం. ఆర్నెల్లుగా మూడుసార్లు ఆసుపత్రుల్లో ఉండి వచ్చి మరణం కోసం ఎదురు చూస్తోంది. మూడు రోజుల నుంచి ఆరోగ్యం క్షీణిస్తూ ఈ రోజు మధ్యాహ్నం కన్ను మూసింది.

ఆస్పత్రికి తీసుకెళ్లే ఆలోచన చేయలేదు. దగ్గరి బంధువులు మరణానికి ముందే వచ్చేశారు. ఆమె కన్నుమూశాక మరో ఇరవై మంది వచ్చారు.

గేటెడ్ కమ్యూనిటీ పెద్దలకు సమాచారం ఇచ్చారు. భౌతికకాయాన్ని తీసుకెళ్లడానికి ప్రొటోకాల్ మొత్తం సిద్ధం చేశారు. కానీ స్నానం చేయించడానికి, ఇతర క్రియలకు ఊళ్లలో లాగా చోటు లేదు. ఇటీవలి కాలంలో కమ్యూనిటీలో అలా చేసిన దాఖలాలూ లేవు. ఆ ఏర్పాట్లు కొడుకునే చూసుకోమన్నారు.

కొడుకు ఎమోషన్‌కు పోకుండా అన్నీ ఇంటి బాల్కనీలో, హాల్లోనే కానిచ్చేశాడు.

భౌతికకాయాన్ని అందరం మోసుకుంటూ వాహనం దాకా తీసుకెళ్లాం. అక్కడి నుంచి కుటుంబ సభ్యులే బయలుదేరారు. స్మశానానికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.

మా మిత్రుడి తల్లి పాతికేళ్ల క్రితమే భర్త చనిపోయినప్పుడే చిలకలగూడ ఖబరస్తాన్‌లో ఆయన్ని ఖననం చేసిన చోటే డబ్బు చెల్లించి తనకూ చోటు రిజర్వు చేసుకుందట. ఇప్పుడైతే లక్షో, రెండు లక్షలో పెట్టాలట. ఆ టెన్షన్ లేదు. అదొక ఊరట.

ఆకాశహర్మ్యాలు కడుతున్నారు. మూడు బెడ్రూముల ఫ్లాట్ రెండు కోట్లకు అమ్ముతున్నారు. ఆ ఫ్లాటే ఏకైక అడ్రస్ అయిన వాళ్ల పరిస్థితి ఏమిటన్నది మా మిత్రుల మధ్య చర్చకు వచ్చింది. మై హోం సంస్థ కొన్ని కమ్యూనిటీల్లో ఇలాంటి వాటికి ఏర్పాటు చేసిందట. అంటే చాలా కమ్యూనిటీల్లో ఆ ఏర్పాటు లేదన్నమాట.

చావు గౌరవంగా జరగాలి. ఇరుగుపొరుగు ఇబ్బంది పడతారేమోనన్న భయం లేకుండా జరగాలి. గేటెడ్ కమ్యూనిటీల్లో పెద్ద పెద్ద క్లబ్‌హౌస్‌లు కడుతున్నారు. సరే. చివరి క్రియల కోసం శోకమందిరాలు కూడా కట్టాలి.

సింగిల్ బెడ్రూం ఫ్లాట్ అంత చోటు చాలు. ఎకరాల్లో విస్తరించిన గేటెడ్ కమ్యూనిటీల్లో అది సాధ్యమే. అది కనిపించినప్పుడల్లా మరణం కూడా మన జీవితంలో భాగమేనని గుర్తుకొస్తుంది. అది అవసరం కూడా.

DMK Joker Ecosystem

It is a known fact that the DMK Government was corrupt to the core. When you mention this, the ecosystem wants proof. Proofs are to be provided by the law & order entities. An individual who is part of a specific slice of life knows by direct experience how much was demanded and how much was paid, or not paid.

I am a Tamil book publisher for the last 22 years. We have not paid any bribe (under any Govt - AIADMK or DMK). We do not care about library order. We apply for all our books and routinely get some order. I have no complaints. At the same time, I see people in the system pay a hefty bribe and get a very large order and fulfill the same order by just printing Ponniyin Selvan again and again! Ask any library user and they will tell you how bad the procurement system is.

The school education system under DMK was horribly corrupt. It required a solid sum of money as bribe for getting recognition (certificate of recognition). A relatively smaller amount for upgradation (from 8th to 10th, from 10th to 12th) as well as renewal of recognition which happens every three years.

Sridhar Vembu @svembu wrote that his own school which offers free education was asked a bribe during DMK but the approval came through under TVK without any such demand. Some wrote back saying the school was already running, and why it needed approval now. They have no clue how schools function.

You have to build a school (physical infrastructure) by first getting permission. Then you need to get Certificate of Recognition from the School Education Department. This recognition is for a period usually of three years. Then this will be renewed every three years.

A school may run without recognition but will have to send its students through another recognized school for appearing in 10th & 12th public exams.

One can run a 'school like' structure, train students and make them appear for 10th/12th under NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) which is a central government entity.

Many would prefer either a state government recognition or CBSE recognition. In case of CBSE recognition, one needs to get state school education ministry's No Objection Certificate (NOC). This also required a hefty bribe under DMK.

So three DMK bribe collection points were as follows:

1. Giving recognition to a state board school (first time)
2. Renewing recognition every three years
3. You want to escape the clutches of this bribe system by moving to CBSE - then a one-time bribe demand for NOC

Learn from your friends who are running private schools, both Samacheer and CBSE and they will tell you how the system works.

Both AIADMK and DMK are guilty of this.

The TVK Govt. has changed this completely. At least as of now. I hope their transparent honest system will continue for the rest of their term.

Our rural school Kalaivani Kalvi Maiyam, which provides completely free education to rural children, faced delays getting approvals from the previous government. Of course, significant money was demanded and we were told that was the only way, even if it is a completely free school.

After @TVKVijayHQ came to power, approvals have happened quickly and automatically.

I am very happy to appreciate this positive development in our state. Thank you Thiru Vijay Avl for this refreshing change🙏
