Dear @McJuggerNuggets,
Grace and peace to you in the Lord Jesus Christ,
In these recent days, I could not help but notice the explosion of information popping up on my feed regarding the erroneous decision you and your wife made regarding your child. Firstly, it is true that this was wrong. The doctors, society, and Satan himself have all lied to you. What you have done is indeed murder.
I am reaching out not to cast a stone at you, but to extend the hand of Mercy. This Mercy is twofold: firstly, it is what we call a “spiritual work of mercy,” which is to inform you of a grave evil committed. The second aspect of this is to tell you the truth: that Jesus still loves you. He loves you, your wife, your family, and your child, whom we now entrust to His Mercy. I extend this love by telling you the truth.
I send this message to give you saving truth, of what you actually did, in order that you and your wife will repent, but also that, if you come to this realization and acknowledgment of what you have done, you might not despair of Mercy. Mercy is for all, but it requires repentance and conversion to Christ through His Church.
I wish to extend to you the hope and the Mercy of Christ. His Mercy is greater than all of our sins, no matter how dark or evil they may be, if only we repent.
Out of pastoral concern, I call you to repentance, but also to please accept the love Jesus has for you by running into His arms of Mercy through the great gift of the Sacrament of Confession. He died for my sins and for yours.
I am praying for you and your family.
@Ring__The_Bell $1500 at our cathedral. Not counting anything directly for priest, musicians, wedding planner provided by them. Wasn’t a hurdle for us but they offered to offset with our tithes
@Te_317 We traveled with about 15 athletic booster staff and fans to a Big10 away game. Stopped for lunch and the restaurant requested a photo with us. We clarified we are not the actual team but still took the pic!
My daughter’s best friend had a parent die. Suddenly. Like my father. One moment alive. Next moment not. She came to school the day after. I don’t know why. Maybe because staying home was worse. My daughter found her in the bathroom. Just sitting. My daughter sat down next to her. Didn’t say I’m sorry. Didn’t say anything actually. Just sat on the bathroom floor with her best friend. They sat there for thirty minutes. Teacher found them. Took them to the counselor’s office.

For centuries, church bells called the faithful to pray the Angelus three times a day. Most have gone silent. We're bringing them back! #PrayTheAngelus ⛪️🔔🙏

My mum died this morning. Not at all unexpected and very peaceful at a grand old age. I'm staying at my sister's and, after a couple of hours of reminiscing, her husband came down to breakfast with a cheery:
'Good morning, orphans'. And sometimes you need that sort of humour to lighten the atmosphere. Not for everyone, I know, but we laughed.
@MariaElenaJMJ I had Gregorian masses said for my dad who died without Rites. I never did for my mom who was sick with cancer and received the Rites and Apostolic Blessing. Should I?
