Tamil Nadu govt to roll out e-bookings in Parthasarathy and Mangadu temples for paid darshans, donations and events as a pilot project. Both the temples witness a footfall of 7,000 to 8,000 people during weekends.

The move is to ease bookings, reduce queues in temples during busy hours and curb any kind of over charging by temple staff.

I am not sure why so many think like this about Chennai! Myself being 3 gen at Chennai, I have enjoyed enough here, no lack of places & fun. You just need to look & mingle with right people! Discos, bars, beaches & what not! I mean even in 90s

1. Have a vibrant night life
2. Alter it's liquor policy
3. Have more entertainment options
