Why did you delete the part where I was asking for my phone so I could retrieve my cousin’s number? And where I was asking to let me speak to my lawyers?
The same Delhi Police which is now taking the moral high ground for informing me about my grandmother’s demise and offering me a ride home came to me at 3:30 in the morning with arrest papers, demanding that I sign them.
Where did all that humanity go at 3:30 AM? Despite knowing that I had just lost my grandmother, they still insisted that I sign the arrest papers. I refused until I was allowed to speak to my lawyers.
@shub_5 Well, we arent doing great either . We are turning to be net importers and it serves our country’s interests to not allow foreign players just to control our gdp and trade deficit; but maybe fair competition is getting killed and who knows if BJP IT cell and Jio are colluding ?
Given the current state of protests, I won’t be surprised if boycotting Jio is next.
Jio brought the cheaper and highly available 4G/5G in the country but realising slowly that they may be backed by the govt to gain control over internet and free speech eventually colluding with the GoI to control the media narrative.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
🚨 India must build its own AI models instead of just consuming technology developed abroad, says Sarvam AI co-founder Pratyush Kumar.
The company is targeting February 2027 to launch a trillion-parameter AI model.
The appeal of swarms of small models is strong. But it’s mostly a mirage.
Even if a model is 20x cheaper, it’ll likely spend 40-50x more tokens solving a problem than the bigger model.
If guess its only fair for a model to be twice as fast to output 4-5x the output tokens to do the same task . Now we can generate lots of slop faster and even pay more for it 🤡
@cursor_ai@poteto - Haiku 5.5 is better than a 2.1 T parameter model on cursor's own bench at a fraction of the cost. Some serious issues with @grok or with cursor bench. With grok bot now supporting opus 5.5, xAI seems to be leaning heavily on Anthropic for intelligence.
Man, I wish Steve Jobs were still alive.
He would’ve built the best personal AI agent.
The biggest limitation of Instint and Muse is that they can’t control most apps on my phone.
Apple controls the entire iOS ecosystem. No company is better positioned to build an AI agent that can do literally everything on your phone.
And yet somehow, Siri still sucks…
‼️ BREAKING: xAI's Grok Build CLI was uploading entire Git repositories to a Google Cloud bucket, private codebases and unredacted secrets included. The uploads quietly stopped via a hidden server-side flag, and xAI still has not said a word about scope, retention, or deletion.
The scale is staggering. On a 12 GB test repo, 5.1 GB flew out the door to xAI's grok-code-session-traces bucket while the actual coding task needed just 192 KB. The tool grabbed whatever repository it ran in, not the files it needed.
The fix arrived as a hidden flag, disable_codebase_upload: true, a day after a researcher's wire-level analysis. The "Improve the model" opt-out never stopped the uploads.
Still no advisory, no scope, no word on whether already-uploaded code gets deleted. For anyone pointing AI coding agents at proprietary code, what crosses the wire matters more than what the settings page says.
