Under the ongoing anti-drug campaign by Fazilka Police, an Open Mega Sports Meet (District-Level Sports Tournament) was organized today at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium, Fazilka.

The tournament featured various events for both boys and girls, including 100m, 200m, 400m, and 1600m races, along with Kabaddi, Tug of War, Long Jump, High Jump, Wrestling, and Kho-Kho competitions.

Attractive prizes were awarded to the top three winners in each sport. A large number of civil and police administration officials and personnel were present on this occasion.

Fazilka Police delivers a major blow to a trans-border narcotics network:

Based on a confidential tip-off, Fazilka Police exposed a trans-border narcotics network and arrested one drug trafficker. The police seized 2 kg 41 grams of heroin from the accused.

The arrested trafficker was found to be smuggling heroin consignments from Pakistan using drones. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act at Sadar Jalalabad Police Station, and further investigations are underway.

Fazilka Police takes another major action against cyber fraudsters.

The Cyber Crime Police Station of Fazilka has arrested a cyber fraudster who was creating fake Facebook accounts and linking UPI QR codes of his bank account with religious videos. He exploited people's goodwill by pocketing donations given out of devotion.

The arrested cyber fraudster was found with one laptop, nine mobile phones, and 19 credit and debit cards. A case has been registered against him at the Cyber Crime Police Station, Fazilka, and further action is being taken.

ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਦਰ ਜਲਾਲਾਬਾਦ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਫਾਰਮਾ ਡਰੱਗ ਕਾਰਟੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
