@sandeepssrin And that's why we tell candidates that they can use AI coding tools during our tech interviews and give them brownie points if they do. We do this in a live coding setting. We look at how quickly they get to the output and if they can debug AI code
@chrismanfrank Hope you launch soon in India. Selfish: have a newborn so that gives 7-8 years for @synthesischool to launch. Altruistic reason: want more children from developing countries to get access.
P.S: am an engineer in India, please DM me in case I can be of any help in the mission
@rexsalisbury If I am not mistaken, you still need to be an accredited investor! Thats why I like platforms like @fairmint which makes it even more accessible
@fairremote Another interesting idea would be to give discounts to companies that score high on the "fairness" spectrum (the set of parameters you're tracking)
21/ Other distribution points like Microsoft teams, figma, etc. will work wonders in the workplace vertical. As Around gets comfortable to expand to other verticals, tight integration in video games (already hinted in the landing page), interviewing tools, etc. will make sense
20/ Around should market its native apps better to get a handle of distribution. Slack can get you far until it cannot. Google will make hangouts prominent than Around's link. I am also not sure how much of the cool features are available on the browser vs the client.
19/ To combat Zoom's penetration: Around can start at the peripherals - calm companies that want less distractions, companies that recently transitioned to fully remote or hybrid who shoe-horn existing solutions. Partnerships with @fairremote can be beneficial
17/ Minutes in a meeting is interesting for Around: it is a negative metric that it should strive to reduce (after discounting for connection drops). It also incentivises businesses to become productive. When that happens, NPS scores will improve and the flywheel spins faster
16/ As more businesses onboard and as they scale, the potential for introducing usage-pricing metric emerges: tiers based on number of hosts, number of participants in a meeting, minutes in a meeting, etc.
