This proud South African patriot in Cape Town is walking into these shops owned by Pakistanis and asking the question nobody in government wants to answer, “why don’t you employ South Africans”

Spaza shops were built by South Africans but today large parts of that sector are owned and staffed by Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Somali and Ethiopian networks. All the turnover generated leaves the country, most stock is imported from their countries, locals get pushed out and In most cases these shops have been linked to expired goods and even worse.

As a person who loves and cares for South Africa, I’m sounding the alarm. Look at Athens and other European cities, Pakistani networks have taken over big chunks of the convenience store and mini market trade just as they are trying to do in SA. It’s exactly the same model, tight ethnic supply chains and cash businesses.

Europe already lives with the consequences but you guys in our beloved South Africa still have a window. Enforce the law and stop the fronting, prioritise your own citizens for jobs in your own informal economy. If you don’t, the takeover won’t stay in the townships, it will hit the major cities too.

Just to make myself clear without misunderstanding, this is not about race but whose country South Africa is.

South Africans, the Commission is under attack. A coordinated campaign appears to have been launched against it, and we must not become complacent. We can already see some politicians who have faced allegations of corruption beginning to attack the Madlanga Commission. Some have even publicly stated that they will not allow themselves to be questioned "like a small boys" there by the Commissioner. If true, such statements could suggest that Section 106 notices have been issued and that certain individuals may soon be called to appear before the Commission.
Instead of cooperating with the process, they are attempting to dictate how the Commissioner should question them, as though they are above accountability. They are not. No one is above the law.
Why attack the Commission when you are a member of the very government that established it? It is highly unusual to see leaders of political parties publicly undermine a commission of inquiry before they have even appeared before it.
South Africans, we must defend the independence and integrity of this Commission. If we allow it to be weakened or discredited, we risk returning to the state of affairs that existed before 6 July. Accountability and transparency must remain our priority.🫡🇿🇦

How do we accept a system where citizens can lose up to 41% of their salaries to tax, yet corruption continues to thrive, rural roads remain undrivable, municipalities collapse, and local councillors operate with little to no accountability?

Taxation without visible service delivery is not governance; it is betrayal.

This country does not lack money. It lacks ethical leadership, consequence management, and political will. We cannot keep comparing ourselves to countries like Qatar and pretending the difference is luck. The difference is leadership, planning, discipline and accountability.

South Africa deserves a government that respects every rand taken from its people. The amount of tax we are paying is just insane😭💔

This is to Notify you that, Due to uprising fighting against illegal foreign nationals in our country, Southern Africa Human Rights Lawyers High Commission has petitioned SADC,SACU and AU to impose the following Economic Sanctions against South Africa.

1. Targeted Financial and Asset Restrictions

• Corporate Oversight: Initiate a coordinated legal framework to review, restrict, or temporarily freeze the expansion and capital repatriation of South African multinational corporations operating within African jurisdictions.

• Escrow Mandate: Require that a designated percentage of revenues generated by JSE-listed entities operating in SADC states be placed into an independent regional trust fund.

This fund will directly compensate victims of xenophobic violence and fund cross-border legal protection programs.

2. Conditional Trade and Border Enforcement

• SACU and SADC Review: Suspend South Africa's preferential tariff benefits under the SADC Free Trade Area and the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) until
independent human rights observers verify the implementation of comprehensive,
verifiable domestic security protections for migrant workers.

• Reciprocal Border Tariffs: Apply reciprocal administrative levies on South African manufactured goods entering regional markets, offsetting the domestic economic
imbalances caused by local structural disruptions.

3. Energy and Utility Leverage Operations

• Strategic Re-evaluation: Direct regional utility partners to re-evaluate institutional
agreements—including water supply networks and regional electricity grid sharing via the
Southern African Power Pool (SAPP)—to ensure that bilateral resource agreements are
strictly contingent upon the host nation's adherence to international human rights norms.

We are been told not to retaliate even when illegal immigrants are flocking in our country or else we will be isolated as South Africans. Patriots it's either we fight or we submit it's all on us but I say we fight and never surrender our country just to appease people who don't care about their own country.
