وفجأة استوعبت شيء.

هم كانوا قد دفعوا وطلعوا.

يعني لو ما راجعت الفاتورة…

كان طبقهم راح ينضاف علينا.

قلت للنادل:

«هم دفعوا حسابهم؟»

قال:

«إيه.»

قلت:

«وكان طبق الستيك هذا في فاتورتهم؟»

سكت.

ثم قال:

«لا.»

هنا فهمت إن الموضوع ما كان مجرد «غلطة في النظام».

الطبق انحط في فاتورة طاولتنا بعد ما الطاولة الثانية دفعت ومشت.
