ISRAEL OFFICIAL: "Eilat is in a severe crisis, with hundreds of businesses closed. Unemployment rates have risen dramatically, as 80% of businesses are suffering a severe blow."

Eilat relies heavily on tourism and shipping, both of which have been devastated by the war.

Also, the number of oil tankers docking there has dropped dramatically since the Houthis began attacking ships in the Red Sea.
