I suppose we could what if around in circles, and they did find access to tech in Uruguay, but it rings true after just being at a private school locally with only a barely functioning computer lab for 6 yrs!

@andCreative Yes! Trying my best to keep up, take advantage of every learning opportunity I can, collaborate with colleagues, learn from students, etc. It can be overwhelming at times, but oh so rewarding when it comes together and you see students flourish because of it.

@sboggett333 I feel ya! I have found having a colleague walk me through a program, show me concrete examples of how they use it, and troubleshoot how I could envision it helps sometimes. Thank goodness for sisters that are consultants at another school board! She's my tech tutor!

@TinnekeWilson I've heard/seen some of these apps in use. But even some of the programs or sites our students use, I wonder how comfortable the parents are with them or how we could catch them up to speed... My own mom always felt lost when we were kids with the limited tech we had back then!

@MrsEmilyJAdams I'm trying to play catch up now, after being at a school with verrrrrry little tech for the last 6 years. I am soaking in all this tech and excited to apply it to my own classroom one day. One of the benefits of being an OT, get to explore all kinds of new, creative ideas!

A2: Also, that collaborating with colleagues (p.69) allows us to effectively co-design deep learning... if we expect the kids to co-design, what better way than to model it with colleagues too! #hpedeeplearning
