@nigerianpapi_ng @sapphyreblayze American here. Every job I’ve worked at had four weeks paid vacation/year. After accumulated time in said job, that increased to more paid vacation. We also have paid holidays and sick leave. Not to enter the argument, just wanting to correct information.

@ok6ixx I had a similar experience in Tokyo. A mom, baby in a wrap around her and pushing a stroller, walked 18 blocks in the direction she wasn’t going to make sure I got where I was supposed to be. I protested, then offered her $. She finally let me push her stroller. Unforgettable.

@lawehner @JeffFoster51 It’s MUCH easier than you’d expect. And I’ve only spent $250-$300/cover. Vellum is awesome software that will instantly format your book for you in both e-book and paperback ready files. Marketing does take time. But it’s less intimidating than you’d think. Consider it!
