I BET YOU DIDN'Y KNOW ABOUT THIS: AFTER FLIGHT 77 HIT THE PENTAGON ON 9/11, THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED.

A daycare facility inside the Pentagon had many children, including infants who were in heavy cribs. The daycare supervisor, looking at all the children they needed to evacuate, was in a panic over what they could do.

There were many children, mostly toddlers, as well as the infants who would need to be taken out with the cribs. There was no time to try to bundle them into carriers and strollers.

Just then a young Marine came running into the center and asked what they needed. After hearing what the center director was trying to do, he ran back out into the hallway and disappeared. The director thought, "Well, here we are, on our own."

About 2 minutes later, that Marine returned with 40 other Marines in tow.

Each of them grabbed a crib with a child, and the rest started gathering up toddlers.

The director and her staff then helped them take all the children out of the center and down toward the park near the Potomac .

Once they got about 3/4 of a mile outside the building, the Marines stopped in the park, and then did a fabulous thing - they formed a circle with the cribs, which were quite sturdy and heavy, like the covered wagons in the Old West.

Inside this circle of cribs, they put the toddlers, to keep them from wandering off.

Outside this circle were the 40 Marines, forming a perimeter around the children and waiting for instructions. There they remained until the parents could be notified and come get their children.

The chaplain then said, "I don't think any of us saw nor heard of this on any of the news stories of the day. It was an incredible story of our men there.” There wasn't a dry eye in the room.

The thought of those Marines and what they did and how fast they reacted; could we expect any less from them? It was one of the most touching stories from the Pentagon.

It's the military, not the politicians that ensures our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It's the military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag.

If you care to offer the smallest token of recognition and appreciation for the military, please pass this on and pray for our men and women, who have served and are currently serving our country, and honor the memory of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice!

The Money Honey Is Gone from Fox

Maria Bartiromo is out at Fox News. Effective immediately. After 12 and a half years.

Fox put out one of those cold corporate statements thanking her for her service and wishing her well on her “next chapter.” Then they stripped her name off every show she built. Mornings with Maria is now just Mornings with FOX Business. Her Friday night Wall Street show got the same treatment. Sunday Morning Futures is being handed to Jason Chaffetz this weekend while they figure out a replacement.

That’s how they treat one of the few people at that network who still acted like a journalist instead of a risk-management intern.

They called her the Money Honey back at CNBC because she actually understood markets and wasn’t afraid to talk to the people who move them. She brought that same energy to Fox. Then she did something that made the suits nervous: she treated Donald Trump like a newsworthy president instead of a radioactive asset. She booked him. She asked questions. She let him talk. And when the 2020 election looked like a dumpster fire to half the country, she didn’t pretend it was a tidy civic exercise.

That’s the real problem.
The reported backstory is that after Trump’s July primetime address — the one that went back at China and the 2020 vote — Fox sent an internal text telling producers not to give those claims oxygen. Legal hangover from the Dominion settlement. Smartmatic still lurking. Bartiromo screenshotted the guidance and sent it to the White House so they would know why the speech got the silent treatment on the network that used to run toward those stories.

Fox found out because the White House called them. They treated it as a fireable offense. Leaking confidential company communications. Betraying the employer.
From the MAGA side of the room it looks different. It looks like a host who still believed the audience deserved to hear what the President of the United States was saying, even after the lawyers told everyone to tap the brakes. Fox already paid $787 million to make the Dominion case go away. They weren’t about to let another story about China and voting systems walk onto the air. Bartiromo apparently decided the audience and the White House should know the network was sitting on it.
That’s not “conspiracy.” That’s an employee who thought her job was still news instead of reputation management.
She hadn’t been on air since early August. They let her do one last morning show Thursday and then dropped the announcement. Classic Fox: keep the talent working until the statement is ready, then wipe the name off the set.
A lot of people on our side are already saying she should be White House press secretary. Roger Stone floated it. It’s not crazy. She knows the markets, she knows the players, and she doesn’t flinch when the press pack starts screaming. Whether that’s her next move or she lands at Newsmax, on X, or builds something independent, the network just lost one of the few remaining voices that treated election integrity and China like they actually mattered.

Fox can rotate anchors and rebrand the shows all they want. The viewers noticed who they just pushed out the door. The Money Honey didn’t get softer. The network did.

You’re a hypocrite because you preach to be for the working-class while being funded by anti-union Koch bros. and regurgitate Republicans talking points while they’ve systematically dismantled the working class for the past 40+ years."

Hello there, Chrisp. Nice outfit! As a rule, I don’t debate with grown men who dress like super-heroes and hide behind a pseudonym, but since you’ve been so candid with your criticism, and since I’m trapped on another plane for the next few hours, I’ll bite.

First of all, let me assure you that many people do in fact, accuse me of hypocrisy because I have a four-year degree, but don't offer scholarships to four-year universities. I hear from these people every day, and they are very clear about the extent of their disappointment. Interestingly, many of those same people, also call me a hypocrite because I had a long and varied career in the entertainment industry before I launched mikeroweWORKS. They use the fact that I used to work as an actor, narrator, singer, and writer, to undermine any opinion I might have about education and workforce that they don't share. (He's just an actor! He sang in the Opera! What does he know?) These ad hominem attacks are very popular among those with no actual arguments to make, and easy to identify once you start looking for them. Consider those who tried to dismiss Ronald Reagan's ideas because he used to be an actor, or more recently, Markwayne Mullen's nomination to Secretary of Homeland Security, because he used to be a plumber. (I'm talking to you, Jimmy Kimmel.)

To your second point, I've never preached or claimed to speak for the "working class," especially as you define them. Like many others who favor the term, you imply that the "working class" is limited to those workers who are represented by unions. I don't share that view. Although I've been critical of some union policies in the past, and argued that not all unions are created equal, I have no issue with organized labor. In fact, I've worked closely with dozens of them, and featured them prominently on Dirty Jobs, Somebody's Gotta Do It, Returning the Favor, and other shows over the years. Most tellingly, many of the 3,500 people my foundation has assisted are members of a trade union today, and I’m very happy for them. But, like the workforce overall, most of my scholarship recipients do not join unions, for all kinds of reasons.

Fact is, Chrisp, the sum total of all workers in America who belong to a union – public and private sector combined - is barely 10%. Begging the obvious question...why would a guy who dresses up like Captain America want me to ignore 90% of the American workforce? And why for that matter, would a super-hero like you want me to reject financial assistance from companies, foundations, or individuals who employ so many hard working, highly skilled, well-compensated Americans? Does Captain America really want everyone to be in a union? If so, he should maybe consider changing his name.

As for Republican talking points, again, I would invite you to prove the accusation. Just because I happen to say something that might coincide with a conservative position, doesn’t mean I’m “regurgitating” anyone else’s talking points. I’ve been a registered Independent my whole life, and I’ve tried to limit my public comments to issues pertaining to workforce and education. But if you really find my opinions inconsistent with your own, and feel compelled to tell six million people why you think I’m a hypocrite with no actual proof, you might want to at least consider the possibility that your disappointment has less to do with me, and more to do with the narrowness of your own worldview. Is that possible, Chrisp? Is it possible that you think I’m a hypocrite simply because I don’t share your priorities?

I'll tell you what I think. (I know you didn't ask for my opinion, but I didn't ask for yours either, right?) I think your worldview is largely shaped by the eternal struggle between labor and management. I think you see one as the oppressor, and the other as the oppressed, and I think that perspective has made your world a very small place. Thus, my view of organized labor is just too nuanced for a super hero like you. Anything short of total fealty is a threat to your belief system. Because I don’t focus entirely on the 10% of the workforce that matters most to you, you see me as a threat. Because I might not vote the way you vote, you see me as a threat. Because I accept support from people you don't like, you see me as a threat. And because I have a large public platform, you see me as an even bigger threat.

The unfortunate part, is that you don't seem to care at all about the 3,500 hundred people my foundation has assisted, most of whom are making a pretty great living outside a union. And because you’re not alone in your apathy, fear, and paranoia, you’ve whipped up the courage to hide behind a pseudonym, dress up like an imaginary Avenger, and criticize anyone who falls short of your own beliefs and expectations. With respect, "Mr. LikeTheChicken," I think your name says it all...
