@xTacio_ Side note, I spread my friend's double sleeved deck out a couple weeks and was able to pick out most (all?) of his Chinese foils and then an English one just based on feel so i feel like this game in general needs some level of trust
@xTacio_ I see. So it's very possibly someone else could've been flipping cards in edg rico's deck. Also if there were other cards flipped in the deck, it seems more likely that it was accidental
@xTacio_ That said i do think it's definitely possible for people to stack their deck based on a card being flipped. Then, foil cards feeling different makes the opponent more likely to cut there.
@xTacio_ In riftbound, does the opponent usually shuffle your deck or just cut?
If it's shuffling, dq-ing people over something your opponent could've done feels very wrong.
If it's cutting, I guess the thinking is you stack adapt a tron under your most bent foil card?
@kaneblaise@RealPrismsword It just feels like a weird dichotomy to me. Their mindset is that they can use cheap coders but they can't use cheap artists.
I guess the difference is that when you hire cheap coders, you may not necessarily see the difference early on, or ever if you get really lucky
@wickhelm I literally opened Twitter just to see what people were talking about in regards to Chrono. Time to get off this app for awhile again though lol
@RealPrismsword "woo prism" - it feels weird to me too that from the get go, we knew they were going to look for programmers willing to accept significantly under average pay for this kind of job, but they didn't do the same for artists
