@thatCHARM3R Yeah that's not a bad option. Learn how to do a riffle without bending the cards.

Only issue is that I think most people would be pretty upset if they saw their opponent doing a riffle shuffle even if we tell them we're not bending their cards lol

@thatCHARM3R I kind of wish that wizards would do s study on mash shuffling compared to riffle shuffling cause I'm not sure if the math is actually the same for both. It is probably also card sleeve dependent where the card sleeves may either increase clumping or decrease clumping

@Drisoth @The_Blevins It's weird even in big population areas. Like i live in Silicon Valley. I visited LA a few weeks ago and a lot of the store level events were only getting 4 or so sign ups with an exclusive mat/card as the prize. Someone told me a story of going to LA and just farming them lol

@Drisoth @The_Blevins It's also feels like there's not much to play for in terms of competition in which big events (RQs) are pretty hard to get into and the closest medium sized event (showdown) to me is 2 hours away and seems yearly

@Drisoth @The_Blevins I think riftbound events are kind of weird too where a lot of people preregister and just don't show up. I've been to 3 events so far and only about 50-60% of the people will show up. I didn't know this initially and missed out on an event with a friend cause all spots were taken

@sCBASSs I think dragon rulers was my least favorite format because i didn't want to spend money lol i topped a locals with antimeta aka floodgates.dek because the judge didn't know that dark bribe couldn't be played with 0 cards. I went home, googled it and was like uhh.... Rip opponent

@sCBASSs Lol i quit playing shortly before pepe. I don't think i ever owned an actual full power meta deck. I just filled my deck with more flood gates to make up for it. Like main decking gozen match in gravekeepers because i didn't want to shell out $650 for duality/warning/judgement
